These holes are 'scuppers', these are holes in a ship's side to carry water overboard from the deck.🙂

Sehr schönes Modell… ich hab es vor vielen Jahren bei Krick gekauft, welch ich nach der Besichtigung der echten Finnmarken so beeindruckt von dem Schiff war…. Ich hab den Bausatz aber noch nicht angerührt… schön das du ihn baust und dazu noch ein paar tolle Videos hoch lädst… Danke schön 👍🏽🙋🏽♂️🐝

excellent kit en général, seul défaut, les dernier étage du pont supérieure arrière est difficile a fixée en mode démontable donc a modifier a votre gout

Looks like a pretty nice model - and plenty big enough for fumble fingered folks like me to build. Unfortunately, I barely have space to build a 1.4m (4.5 feet for us in the US) model. Waiting for the next installment.

@@davaoshipmodeller merci je debute en maquette sa fait 5 ans j'arrete je recommence enfin c'est au niveaux de la baguette la mesure pour la coller n'59 et66 et comment coller et cintrer la baguette n'31 et trouver le plan mieux expliquer que celui de la boite alors je vous dit pas la suite pour les cabines les voiles je sais pas si j'irait aux bout merci

Souds like a good selection. For my tastes, either (or both) of the Billing models or the Finnmarken. The gondola - nope. Reasoning for these choices is that they represent different types of ships while the Fly is "another" full rigged ship model type that has been done so many times by others. Yes, I know that that kind of statement will offend some but not meant that way as I do appreciate their work and enjoyment. I like seeing your creative ability on these ship models, John and a full rig ship may reduce that.
