Charlemagne is sort of disappointing for me, cuz i can see the synergy between rathaus and imperialistic traits, so you do a wide wall empire, but horrible techs and protective just don't give you a chance + rathaus is expensive asf. If it'd be less expensive, maybe it would make sense just spamming with them in new cities; wide wall empire makes more sense with Gilgamesh then

IDK if I might be the only one that thinks like this, but I honestly find more entertaining the challenging games. I mean, immortal is already a piece of cake to you, let alone playing as a warmoreing leader. You're the master of war. So having a starting position with gold, gems and horses (as Genghis Khan) is basically just game over with your skills, I genuinely don't find games like these to be entertaining but, of course, the point is that YOU have fun!

That was a very good game, swallowing cities with culture! Can corporations be used offensively? like crushing your opponents' economy with corporations they don't benefit much but they are paying the upkeep for you? imagine an archipelago map with sushi corp. too bad they come too late, the game is normally set by that time

Eitr is still pronounced like ether. Its all suppose to be old norse names so things dont sound exactly how they spelled. Kind of like saying Mm-jol-iner instead Mol-nyr (mjoliner). Single t sounds like th and double t sounds like we say it today. *not that it matters but just thought I would mention it.

I really liked this game, it was funny seing Willem be cured of his syndrome. Peacefull gaming is also a nice change. The culture takeover of Brennus was fun, but you probably could have taken more by spreading corporations to his flipped cities.

Great game! Interesting to hear the comparison between a "standard" culture win and this method. Love the culture explosion at the end! These immortal games are enjoyable just to see the different strategies you can get away with on immortal that would nearly/completely impossible on diety.
