Such strength and balance to the performance. Might be exactly the correct way to make the music justice, .. according to my music minded ears, who has listed to Sibelius since early 90s.. teenage strength, learned by music.. how to maintain a good strong personality. Beautiful and vibrant with sincerity.

Saw him a couple of months ago supporting Damien Dempsey at H2O in Birmingham. Immediately after the show bought all his CD's from the lobby lol. I'd pay money to watch him live again. And as others have mentioned, super nice guy, chatted with him after the show.

J&B played for us at Crosby Rd Elementary school in about 1963, this is incredible to see. I think I remember them singing "Dirty Old Town".
Mister trying too hard to be like Luke l say to you, B.... S. You should try and find out who Damien is. Obviously you don't now him. He is a gent and great to see live. Get yourself a life and keep listening to Luke, no one can match Luke, but respect Damian. He's a good guy.

The hymn at the end of the score, now a sort of 2nd national anthem in Finland, is a copy of a catalan hymn to the Virgin of Montserrat. The catalan hymn, called the Virolai, was composed in 1881; the piece by Sibelius in 1899. As simple as that. A shear copy my dear Sibelius.
