Excellent take. I got here after reading a book on Rest by Alex Soojun-Kim Pang. It essentially says that rest has to be intentional. Anything, like entertainment, that can pull you out of your routines can be considered resting if you intent it to be. And it helps. Also, my go-to saying in life will always be the "Golden Mean/Rule - Everything in Moderation"

this video was made 8 years ago, and I found it today . And one thing is sure that there is not any such video more clearcut than this.

The cool thing is even if you treat it as a grim duty and do force yourself to do it for long enough, eventually you break around to what Watts is saying here. You discover/rediscover the playfulness of meditation for its own sake.

The beauty of it all is that the physical capability is not the end goal, its just the result of the practice. The important thing and the purpose of it all is understanding the concept and living through it and applying it, the fact that youve explained it this well shows you understand, and so whether you're unable to handstand or not, or planche and flip, is irrelevant, the practice will have the ultimate quality it needs which is consciousness and freedom

I'm not a basketball player, but I'm getting triggered a bit by the ball not bouncing as high as I would think it should. Do you use a flat ball for some sort of training benefits?

Twitter was such a life-sucker social website. Even from someone who hate the site and join it out of desperation to share (and because, my mind told me and I follow it), I used Cold Turkey and banned the use of Twitter and KZbin for one Week. Why did I do this time? Calling family members and friends and drawing on computer.

For me, Video Game and Study made a good cycle. VG increase our creativity while Study taught more about the mechanics of the world. We will be surprise to found how Video Game works, why they made that way (art-wise) and appreciate it more. I started as a player to forget my time at school and now I play them for challenge. Bonus for loving mathematics. I think it's time to appreciate Game like an art you play.

Capoeira is a movement culture with a long history and heritage. Ido is a capoeirista that applies what he learned from Capoeira to open himself to other practices like yoga, kung fu, etc. When one digs into Capoeira's history finds out it is a beautiful cooking pot with African and Brazilian native body movements primarily mixed with European body cultures. Capoeira is just a great spider that helps us to create our own movements. Ido was caught in the Capoeira web.

Besides other long alternatives(also very informative, glad i watched them) was looking for smh which would not take 2 hours, hoping ppl might actually stick till end and also spark some curiosity for weekly movement gathering members, came across this makes very easier to explain all in short .thats a really great job u did to help a clear understanding for even newbies!

I just rewatched this video after 5 years and man: This video has changed my life. It completely altered my understanding of movement and now, five years later, I am not a rock climber anymore. I do handstands, yoga, capoeira, long distance running, juggling, animal flow and much more. I suck at all of them, but I am a great mover and I feel very free in my body. Thank you sir!

So he's basically doing capoeira with very stiff movements and very rigid hips, by the way, with some calisthenics and yoga, the rest seems to me just to make things exoteric. Connor seems more marketing to me than the actual athlete trained by him. And he probably charges a lot of money for it.
