The rivers in Tasmania are all magnificent. Now we just gotta learn how to fish haha

It's definitely an improvement from our old whipper snipper.. less re string
@yes-k3z4 күн бұрын
I intend to use 2,7mm string. Which do you use. I choose ac 26-2 head which allows both 2,4 and 2,7. What is your thought on that. I wanted a light close to professional trimmer so I choose this one. I am done with 10 kgs ones😂

Are those Pine trees in the background, on the mountain back there? Everything here looks so much like Big Bear / Arrowhead California, big hills with big trees and big blue sky!

We're not sure what type of trees. We are located North East Tasmania, Australia

Well, shit dude, now I’m fuckin’ plugged in for the adventure too… I’ve never heard the term “power gardening” but you just made it sound bad-ass! Love from So California! I just bought my first place on a 12 acre lot. Most my stuff is hand tools, axes, shovels and stuff like that. Not large enough to justify a rider-mower, but I’m hoping to get there someday like you!
@jlgapyear16 күн бұрын
Thanks for the follow from California!! We've been here just over 2 months and are loving the journey to self-sufficiency and learning so much along the way!!
@BREWSWILLIS-198816 күн бұрын
@ loving the “we’re gonna get it done” attitude, the background of Tasmania is very very similar in appearance to some of the terrain here in CA. We’re a massive State and we have almost every type of topography / biome(s) here. Awesome looking journey! Be safe and take care, I went down the playlist of shorts for a bit. The fence clearance fix was a good one, and thanks for not killing us with the Tech-specs on the new rider, yea 48” I think is about 1.2 (give or take) meters. So that thing has a good reach. Looked like the garden area (the one you were Roto-tilling) was sloped maybe 5-10 degrees, any plans to eventually grade that out? Or are you thinking terraced rows facing the sun? I like terraced rows because it requires no extra pumps, the lowest terrace just siphons everything down the gravity-system.
