Great video, i have 5 of those original bachmann 66s in the same polystyrene package and they are very good models. Some have a 6 pin ddc socket & some have a 21 version. Bachmann usually print the year of manufacture inside the box ends but its read right to left 😊

I thought the Class 317/8s along with the Class 317/7s normally worked the Stansted Express services to Stansted Airport, not Cambridge, because the Cambridge services were normally worked by Class 317/5s and Class 317/6s

I visited Switzerland, of course also by train, in the same year at the turn of June and July. I have been fascinated by their trains and everything else for years I passed through Interlaken years ago, in 1999, when I was leaving on a mountain railway to Jungfraujoch and leaving the small station nearby in Grindelwald. Back then, I mainly visited Switzerland by bus with a group of tourists, in 2022 I finally went alone and visited this amazing country by train. You made an interesting video 👍Greetings from Poland and I wish you happiness on your new path in life 🖐

Good video and tone aswell I saw this near Bodmin Parkway and also the 2 freight trains that ran that day aswell I got a nice thrash from the 37 when it was approaching Bodmin Parkway as I was at Respyrn which is kinda half way between Bodmin Parkway and Lostwithiel and the trains going towards Plymouth from Penzance go up a hill from Lostwithiel to Bodmin Parkway.

Really enjoyed the video Lance, Menheniot is a Railway Station that I haven't visited but wouldn't mind visiting this station. Lostwithiel is a nice station. Have been there once.

That's all so modern! I stayed in a Dawlish Warren camping coach, as a child, with my family, in the 1950s. No electricity, shower nor running water. Water was collected on the handlebars of a bike and in a milk churn, from the station toilets. Lighting was oil lamps and cooker powered by paraffin. A truly magical holiday!!
