What a bullet enters a deer’s body usually the direction of the bullet changes due to bone density. In this case, you can see the buck falls down as soon as the shooter shoots. That’s because the bullet went through the buck while running and the bullet changed direction mid flight

There seems to be some misunderstanding about the shot. The shooter was positioned 40-50 yards to the right of the camera, taking a quartering-away shot on the buck. From the camera’s angle, it may look like there were does in the line of fire, but in reality, they were not in danger. No shots were taken at a doe-only at the buck that was properly identified and ethically harvested. You may be referring to the bullet that, after hitting the buck, likely struck bone and changed direction upon exiting
