A friend of mine cleaned the inside of the windshield of my car a few months ago and it was totally clean. They needed to be cleaned again so I tried it and it is worse. Not sure what I did wrong.

That is where the dust and dirt are yes. The mop pads hold lots of dirt.

These cloths are great. Just give them a good rinse with water only, and they'll be ready for the next task.

No you do not. You give it a good rinse under water while scrubbing it against itself a bit. Wring it out as best as you can and hang it to dry. If you rotate 2 you can use one at night, one in the morning and it has lots of time to dry and for the silver infused cloth to purify itself. The set comes with 5 cloths. A zippered mesh laundry bag and a Carrying bag.
