It is possible that the collective consciousness of God in the universe could move matter or align planets in order to create life in a more meaningful way, but beyond that the fact that consciousness was born second or third to matter limits this ability. It is possible that there is consciousness born into a spiritual form in the atmosphere but whether these spirits serve the central intelligence of the "God" of the universe is doubtful. Only that they provide a glimpse into the creation of consciousness is most likely relevant.

This is the faster version , which is how they played it in concert and on the set of the official video for the song ,which is why the guitar parts look wrong .They refused to mime in the video shoot and played this faster version live to the camera , but then dubbed the A side of the single onto the audio track. For me , the Peel session recordings release them from Martin , but would we still be talking about JD if the 2 LP's had been produced like this, maybe , maybe not .
