I was always taught to place the clip inside the pin-curl in order to prevent indentions on the curl. However, I love your method. #LicensedInstructor

What shes showing It will get the job done but it’s really not the way to make sculpture curls or pin curls the correct way. First off, not all sections or sub partings should be square especially around hairline. Theres a technique that shows palm up to palm down. This is done with either left or right hand regardless of the dominant hand. Generally clockwise curls are turned in with left hand and counter clockwise with right hand.. won’t explain but.. Trust me I know these finer points of hairdressing.

Finger waves were the 1ST THING WE HAD TO LEARN IN BEAUTY SCHOOL! 😩 They were hard! They forced us to do them for hours until me got it right! But I’m soooo happy that the forced us to learn this! It teaches you so much about movements and S curls and C curves. It’s the basics of everything! We even set rollers and foils and all kinds of things stems from these basic movements! 😃Thanks for posting this video and giving me my flash backs of beauty school! 🤣🥰
