So Flavien won the classic 2022 & 2024 but 6 races in total ? He is the best up & coming jockey in the US apparently ? But I read J.velazquez , J. Rosario, J. Castellano, Irad Ortiz Jr can't forget to mention old guards Bill Shoemaker, Laffit Piccay Jr (Animal with a whip) Mike Smith, Jerry Bailey & Russell Blaze. My fav US jockey was ( The Kid ) Steve Cauthen only jockey to win the Triple Crown in 2 different countries Affirmed in 78 & Oh So Sharp in 85 England

That horse ran like a horse who hated the dirt but she ran through it. The reason she lost this race is she was not used to the track. Period. She woulda been the greatest turf horse ever in America.

3 weeks after Rip Van Winkle defeated Twice Over at York to win the G1 Juddmonte International Stakes against a loaded field that included the likes of Byword, Cavalryman, Dick Turpin, Jakkalberry, & Cutlass Bay, the Juddmonte International 1st & 2nd would show up at Leopardstown, where both ended up being galloped absolutely bowlegged by Cape Blanco in the G1 Irish Champion Stakes. At York, only a 1/2 length had separated Rip Van Winkle & Twice Over in the Juddmonte International, but on this day Cape Blanco would beat stablemate Rip Van Winkle in 2nd by an emphatic 5-1/2 lengths and Twice Over in 3rd by 5-3/4 lengths under a strong front running ride by jockey Seamie Heffernan.

Flightline was a freak better than big red o dont think so but we will never know, i know that flightline loved 2run it didnt matter how fast u went he just went faster and broke ur heart everytime😢

This horse was a beast. Retired a 7-time G1 winner of the King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Stakes, Coronation Cup, & Prince of Wales's Stakes in the UK. The Secretariat Stakes & Breeders Cup Turf-(2016) in the US, and the Hong Kong Vase twice at Sha Tin in 2015 & 2017. And lest we forget, he finished a narrowly beaten 2nd (1-1/2 lengths) behind New Bay in the G1 Prix Du Jockey Club. A narrowly beaten 2nd (1-1/4 lengths) behind Postponed in the G1 Juddmonte International Stakes, a narrowly beaten 2nd (1-3/4 lengths) behind stablemate Found in the G1 Prix De l'Arc de Triomphe, form he quickly reversed a month later at Santa Anita beating Found by 4 lengths in the BC Turf, and a narrowly beaten 2nd (1/2 length) behind Satono Crown in the 2016 Hong Kong Vase. He also had 3rd place finishes in the G1 Cox Plate, G1 Champion Stakes, & G1 Breeders Cup Turf in 2017. Highland Reel, Yeats, Rock of Gibraltar, Minding, & Magical were the five horses with 7 G1 wins each that were tied for having the most G1 wins by an Aidan O'Brien trained horse until 2024 when Kyrprios won an 8th G1 for O'Brien surpassing them all.

This race breaks my heart for Zenyatta every time I watch it. Feeling that the results will change, but they never do. I loved watching Mike get her to the outside, she dug in, bit down and she zeroed in on Blame and hawked him down.....just another couple of steps! Another couple of steps! Sigh
