The BSA m20 / 21 should really only need a tiny tickle that looked like it was peeing out of the carb …. I saw he was trying to clean out the cylinder 😊 Pain once they’re flooded did you use the valve lifter ? i saw you retard it tho ..... best just leave them 5 mins my Side valve does exactly the same once flooded and never start when someone’s watching Lovely bikes tho 😊😊

Another great record of the day. Especially loved the little yellow car. It gave the spectators more pleasure than any of the other prestige cars on the day. Also loved the ice cream van. Thank you for sharing Euan.

Does anyone know if, when there’s an event like this on, anyone can come down irrespective of what bike they ride? Grew up in this part of London so always remembered seeing events as a kid in the 1970s onwards….now almost 50, passed my CBT 2 days ago and picking up my first bike - Suzuki VanVan 125, and really want to ride it down to the Ace when there’s an event on and tick it off the bucket list lol

I just purchased a 1970 t500 in Oregon that is perfect for 4,000. USD. Absolutely love it. The same gentleman also sold me his 1975 gt550 from his personal collection. Love the rugged Suzuki two strokes.

Excellent midweek venue especially on fine days. Nice collection of classics plus some newer models but anything welcome. Good refreshment van in the dedicated bike area plus the large airport cafe with outside seating to watch the aircraft and toilets.

Visited there twice while in London, it is a bit of a hike by train from central London as it is on the North circular. Good breakfasts served and seating is communal so easy to start a conversation. First time I was on a pub crawl in December so not many bikes there, but there was some type WW2 motor vehicle confab. Second time I was with my wife and daughters and they enjoyed it.

be very cautious parking in that new car park, twenty minutes free then suddenly an automated fine… we always leave bikes behind cafe…
