This video seems under appreciated. But I appreciate it. Thanks for sharing. I found it educational and helped me bridge gaps in my knowledge.

Not sure if your method for measuring the current for 2 resistors in parallel is correct. You essentially made another circuit when you moved the lead of the second resistor in another rail, so the current you are measuring is not correct. Assuming you are measuring current though a 560 Ohm resistor and a 890 Ohm resistor, then the respective current values should be 21.5 mA and 13.5 mA respectively.

Great series. In a few minutes you taught me how to use KiCad, which otherwise I probably would have had to research for a long time. Thanks for that ;) In the very first project I needed to create a new schematic marker for a custom module and I painted a Footprint for it also. I searched for a while for a Pin Table, which finally allowed me to number and setup the pins and name them. Thanks to this, pins with connectors etc. were connected in the PCB editor. Thanks again.

Reminder to always break the circuit when using the ammeter. If you try to measure current while the ammeter is in parallel with the circuit it will burn the ammeter because it's internal resistance is close to zero, so, lots of current going through it.

i had been looking for a step by step of this analisis for some time, thank you for your simple and comprehencible explanation

I would say that "Diodes act as one-way check valves" rather than switches. Transistors (can) act as switches. Overall a very good, concise, description of diodes. :)

This helped me out a lot thanks! If possible could you show a circuit with both series and parallel resistors to find current/voltage through a certain resistor? Thanks again!

It's a nice explanation, however I don't understand why Current is total voltage divided by only RL. Would it not be the voltate over RL, ie 8.74 / 324. It's the same answer to the nearest milliamp anyway, but perhaps the correct way to do the calculation in case it's not the same?

For the first F1 test, even if there where 2 males with red eyes and 78 females with red eyes, the red eyes would still be dominant, but the test will give a very high chi square. This means that based on the test and your null hypothesis given, we would have to reject that red eyes is autosomal dominant. I think the test and calculations is done correctly but the null hypothesis or what the test is testing is wrong as there aren't any white eyed flies in the F1 to even test with as part of our calculations.

Excellent explanation, Ron. That's pretty much how I taught it for 30+ years and the students pick up on it readily. I always told them that Zener Man operated in the Reverse-Biased mode -- hence the dress. He he he. "Lessons taught with humor are Lessons remembered." Just sane... :^) Saint

The expression derived from the 3 variable Kmap is incorrect. You can only group 1’s in rectangles of area 2^n units, where n is anywhere between 0 to infinity. So the grouping of three 1’s is invalid

Thanks again Ron! These videos are really helping me remember how to use KiCAD. Normally, I would have be jumping all over KZbin to find individual videos to answer specific questions and some tutorial series are very long. I am finding that your videos are the perfect length and contain just the right amount of detail for me. Thanks, and Salome!

So good! I Have a question, I did not understand how applying high voltage can create the electron flow when reversed biased? Does that happen when there are no holes left in the p-type material, so electrons from negative source can move through the ions and go to the positive source?
