last time i bought edifier w820nb plus,i was disappointed because of the volume,it was quite low compared to same priced headphones like anker soundcore life q20+,now i'm planning to buy the edifier w950nb,does this headphone has the same "low volume" issue like edifier w820nb plus??

You said you don't like to adjust them through the app but there is a one thing that if you eq Edifiers, they save the eq to their memory and even if you use it on a different device even on a computer, It sound just like how you adjusted them even without the app. So it is only a 1 time thing to adjust the headphones. The thing about the proccessed sound you mentinon, I thing this headphoens are the least proccessed sounding headphones other than bose and sony's flagships. Thats why I choosed them over soundcores or sonys 720n thanks to some youtubers sharing sound samples of all of those headphones. Good review anyways :)

i found that there is a standard version called one plus buds pro 2R that dosent have spatial audio and wireless charging and costs around 85 dollars. i was gonna buy the new liberty 4 NC for 85 dollars but now im torn between those 2. does the 2R version have the same audio quality of the originals ? and what would u recommend the 4NC or the oneplus buds for that price ? thanks !

Do not even think about NOT BUYING THESE HEADPHONES .. JUST GRAB A PAIR … this is my 3rd set of Edifier over the ear headphones and they have always been fantastic value for money and are robust and last … the build on these cans is simply 1st class and they hold there own and let’s mentioned when wired with a 3.5 to lightning or 3.5 Jack end they PUMP .. listen to ZZTOPS SHARPED DRESS MAN ON THESE WITH THE WIRE AND THEY ARE PLAYING IN ROOM LOUNGE AND ALSO DIRECTLY IN THE MIDDLE OF YOUR HEAD … EDIEFIER = EARGASMS

I had the Onepluss buds that cost around 50 bucks, and the sound on those was just amazing. 3x better than the pros imo. Orereded these now, cant wait

I have them, you'll be very happy. Bass is great and sound is amazing. Only thing that sucks is the AnC, besides that is perfect

Even as a IOS user I decided to go with the OBP2 due to the price diference and equalizzation possibilities. The ANC is really a point to consider but to my day-to-day use, it´s pretty ok. The sound separation due the dual drivers is great! Really happy with them!

Good point. I really haven't heard anything stellar with the Galaxy Buds and I'm more interested in the actual sound versus the eco-system. I'll look around and may consider your suggestion. Thanks!

Very good earbuds but for smaller ears its very painful and too bulky in the ear. I had them before oneplus buds pro 2 and the sound quality is so good with the dynamic preset but the oneplus buds get the W for me. I have a s21 and even with a samsung the oneplus buds wins

Nice review. Not sure what happened to a great sound out of the box? Most of these budget phones need an EQ app to sound great. I guess this is the new trend low price with a EQ to match or compete. Thank you!!

Sound is subjective so I mean no matter how a company tunes their stuff not everyone will be happy. That's the point of an eq. Pretty obvious to be honest.

These sound better than Sony 1000xm5 when they are both not tuned in the app. You can check sound samples. One of the most flat good sounding headphones without the tuning in the market I can say. When you tune them in eq, they get better and you don't need the app after you tune them it is only a 1 time thing to do. You can use them with the same tuning in a different device even without the app eq after you tuned them once. Even without the tuning they sound crisp detailed and exciting with some punchy bass even better than Sonys.

master and dynamic, glad you mentioned them, everytime i heard that brand im going to praise the word. Its a cheap engineering with "premium materials" do not buy, even thou cans look pleasant to the eye, avoid them.

They add the ear "plugs" so make the isolation increased while wearing, so you can get more base with the bone conduction. Great review, look forward to more.
