We grew up in highschool. Glad to see he stuck with it. Josh discovered his voice in the 10th grade. He chased his dream as I did not know what my path was but to serve my country in time of need when 9/11 happened.

Il love this class!!! Thanks for posting it on KZbin. Even if it is not easy, this is a wonderful beginners class. I only did ballet for 3 years and that was a long time ago but this class is excellent. If you don't get it right the first time (like me), you can always go back and repeat the exercises until you get them better und learn them good. I only repeated the first three exercises at the beginning and then only two and so on. We don't have to look like those young ballerinas, but it's definitely wonderful for our bodies..This is a national ballet and not a ballet class from a ballet school in your town. ❤❤❤❤❤I love short explanations and then the execution. In some classes there is a lot of talking and your feet and body stay cold.

Unbelievable. Truly. She is the epitome of everything a ballerina should be. The legs. The feet. They are both wonderful. I love the traditional Petipa choreography but also love their twists on it.

I can't believe you actually filmed series of lessons and IT'S FREE. I can't thank you more. I really want to do ballet, but have phobia that makes it very difficult to attend offline classes or at least go outside. So thank you so much for those classes!!

Shame on you, Dutch National Opera, for using your legal team to pressure a KZbinr into deleting a legitimate review of your Turandot production. You present yourselves as champions of creativity, but in truth, you’re nothing more than tyrants disguised as artists. Silencing criticism goes against everything art stands for. Instead of pushing boundaries, you’re controlling narratives and stifling genuine dialogue. The hypocrisy is glaring: you demand audiences accept your so-called boldness, yet you cannot tolerate the same courage from your critics. Tyranny has no place in art, and neither should you.

I used to admire Barrie Kosky’s work, but I’m shocked to learn that he used his legal team to force a KZbinr to take down a legitimate review of his Turandot production for Dutch National opera. Shame on you, Barrie Kosky. You claim to push boundaries and challenge audiences, yet you can’t handle a review with mild negative comments? This reveals you as nothing more than a hypocrite, using art to inflate your own ego. Who are you really? And to the Dutch National Opera: when you throw controversial productions at your audience, you claim it’s an expression of creative freedom. Yet you turn around and use legal teams to silence any dissenting voices. Since when did opera become personal property for establishments like yours? This behavior is nothing short of disgusting. You present yourselves as champions of creativity, but in reality, you’re nothing more than tyrants disguised as artists. Silencing criticism is the antithesis of what art stands for. You’re not pushing boundaries-you’re controlling narratives and stifling genuine dialogue. The hypocrisy is glaring: you demand audiences accept your so-called boldness, yet you can’t tolerate the same courage from critics. Tyranny has no place in art, and neither should you.

I admire the work and the inspiration. This said, the voice in this clip sounds like what an opera should not sound like. We need less star singers and more belcanto.

CHERUBINO Voi che sapete che cosa è amor, donne, vedete s'io l'ho nel cor. Quello ch'io provo vi ridirò, è per me nuovo, capir nol so. Sento un affetto pien di desir, ch'ora è diletto, ch'ora è martir. Gelo e poi sento l'alma avvampar, e in un momento torno a gelar. Ricerco un bene fuori di me, non so chi'l tiene, non so cos'è. Sospiro e gemo senza voler, palpito e tremo senza saper. Non trovo pace notte né dì, ma pur mi piace languir così. Voi che sapete che cosa è amor, donne, vedete s'io l'ho nel cor.
