The flight crew never teaches to discriminate disabled people and family members and kicking off planes due to a disability behavior is not disturbing disruptive isnt the reason. I was kicked off the plane due to sezuire and you can still stay on the plane.

Kendra, SOOO nice to see you back here. Tell you something. When you talk to us on camera, you are so natural, and chatty, and real. Just like we were sitting in the living room catching up. That is such a gift you have, and it is a real extra for your FA skills. You mentioned not being fond of avocado. You and I must be the only Cali people to feel that way. It does NADA for me. My next door neighbor in Los Angeles had an avocado tree and gave my partner and me some of them all the time. Good that my partner was so fond of them. We had in our back yard a navel orange, Valencia orange, and lemon tree. Plus an apricot bush, and a Santa Rosa plum vine that grew entangled in our fence. But I digress. Would you please answer these questions for me, due to my interest. Approximately how many FAs based in SLC? Do you know what number your seniority is in the base -like 350 out of 625, or in what percentile you rank - like in the 30 to 35th percentile. I know you do not have senior mama status yet, but just wait, girl. Take care. Hugs to you and Sam and the felines. Great to see you work with Kira. Herman

Kendra, long time no talk. First, thank u for including the Intermezzo from ‘Thais’ in your music selection. It is sublime, isn’t it? Am going to talk about me here. I did get invited to training with F9. It started 22 April. I did well - 100s. I was very passionate about being in the FA family. Then, when we went to the slide for that drill, instructor - fantastic man- said we had to jump out the cabin door onto slide with arms folded across chest. I did not know that. My 82 year old legs simply would not propel me out the door onto the slide. I asked instructor if I could sit down quickly on slide and go down. Also, I said in event of deploying it, obviously FAs would slide down last and I would be sure to be the last crew member to go down it. He said that was logical and made sense. Also he said the odds of ever having to deploy on any flight I might work were incredibly small. BUT jumping out door with arms folded was an FAA requirement and I could not be certified without doing it. No way around it. So, I had to come back to SEA. Kendra, that was with a very heavy heart. I wanted to do this SOOOO much. Nothing to do with $$ at all. Everything to do with not being alone and working with PAX and being in this wonderful family of FAs. My body had failed me. It certainly brought out depression, and I still have noticeable sadness over something in my body I cannot fix. I could see quickly that - after Rodg’s death last year and my realizing I always had wanted this job - that the application and hiring process had become a big reason for me to go on living. It was always in my thoughts, and I learned the jargon way before being invited to Cheyenne for training. I had selected the LAS base. My class was training for that base. So ---now am sorta not quite back to immediately after losing him - but somewhat lost and rudderless. And I must find some way of coming to closure with it, because it hurts. No one sabotaged me. My own lack of sufficient leg strength brought me down. F9 was super and spent a lot of money on me through flights, hotel room, all meals, and expensive instruction only for Mr not to be able to jump out that door on the mockup. Enough of that. Perhaps a good idea to go back to SLC and have more time with the cats and Sam. Kendra, there is a saying and I do not know how tre it is, but it goes like this - absence doesn’t make the heart grow fonder. It makes it wander. Not saying that is your case But you and he are the two most important persons in your two lives, only superseded of course by the magnificent beings - the cats. And we on here such a short time So be together every minute you can. Love to all of you. Your friend, Herman

I was at the musee d’orsay right before Covid hit. It was the most wonderful experience in the world. So much smaller and easily navigated than the louvre. When you see paintings on the walls that you have seen forever in books or prints well, it actually made me cry. I’m hoping to go back to Paris alone soon if possible just so I can take my time and meander in and out of the rooms. Make sure you take a picture with the clock. Can’t be a tourist without it. Like a beach vacation without taking a picture of your feet. 😊

I’m at a different mainline carrier. It’s been really weird lately. Especially with negotiations, pay, etc. They keep hiring so many people, just for them to quiet within the first couple months because of the pay. Plus the trips, have gone downhill severely. You’re so real for this. It’s just really really weird right now. All carriers are experiencing this.
