I bought the 18u version, which came with the same accessories plus the casters. In the end, after assembling it, it would have been SO much easier if I had put in the casters, legs and cage nuts for the inner U bars before assembling the outer frame. It would have taken just minutes to install all of those pieces while it was disassembled.

My build experience has been less than stellar, personally. I got the 12U server rack with 35" depth, because I need a place to put a Dell PowerEdge r820, and possibly more equipment in the future; the shelf my cabinet came with doesn't match the instruction booklet, with regards to how far apart I need to install the posts inside the cabinet. I've had to adjust them once, and apparently that still wasn't enough (the shelf is larger than the instruction book apparently thinks it should be?) so I'll have to move the posts again tomorrow - really frustrating lol. Other minor issues include one screw hole being improperly aligned, and a couple minor deformations in the shelf itself (as if someone bent the front lip of the shelf with pliers slightly). I hope the thing is sturdy once put together, really not having a good time of it so far with assembly. I will say the thing absolutely GLIDES on the castor wheels it came with, so that part of the assembly/build quality is A+.

Very good and informative video. I'm a little late to the discover this video but I wasn't in the market for a rack until now. I'm considering purchasing the Sysrack 22U with 35" depth. I'm also going to populate it with Unifi equipment. Do you find the 24" depth to be adequate and how much room do you have behind the equipment for running cable? I have the same PDU as you are showing in your video. Did the rack support the PDU weight overtime or have you found that it bent the shelf?

What is the CFM of the two fans? Usually, more CFM means more noise.

Very useful review, thank you! Nice and clean setup you have, well done. Does it comes with caster wheel? If not, were did you buy yours? Cheers!

Hello, is the fan a 110v or USB powered
@KN-jr6tx2 жыл бұрын
I believe the fan is powered by 5V 4 pin PWM. You can find a 110V to 5V 4pin converter on Amazon or ebay. It's an extra step, but it's worth it for a super quiet fan.

How about you make a video of how to soundproof it! Looking forward to it
