Wow, powerful drumming by Mentapu (Nanaho Shima), the current KT marching coach.

It don’t mean a thing This is great! It’s a pity we don’t hear “It don’t mean a thing (if it ain’t got that swing)” recently. I understand that the tap dancing takes too much time to practice, and not good for winning competitions, but hope it will make a comeback.
Hello, I'm so glad that the " Hot Motto Kids " arrived this day. " Furan " has more company this way. Go Kids Go!

Nice camera work in this video. Wide angle and close-ups were balanced. I know one day in the future that someone will fill a glass or a bucket with water and leave it at the side of the stage. If there is room.

Shintoism. The water stage, a very special place.(Water means purity.) The throwing of sweets. Meaning the giving of gifts. They sometimes use water pistols to purify. I wonder if the 3rd year students will carry this on. Look more closely at the Shinto shine.

@@Guard-Reg Thank you Peter for this information. The water stage videos are so much fun because it seems the relaxation washes upon and over the Band members gathered there. The squirt guns are necessary to provide the only water at the water stage. I kind of miss my squirt guns now, because they often doubled as a canteen. They had a distinctive sweet flavor. I think I shall now try to find one on-line. Once in my life I received a pair. One was a Colt .45 a.c.p. and the other was a Luger P- 08. Sadly the Luger had a longer range. " Cheers! " " Hey! " d:)

Hi Texan, are you kidding me? A Luger water pistol.@@clutchpedalreturnsprg7710
Every time when I watched the Tachibanasai videos, I could not help think of my naughty lovely daughters and the fun we had togethers. So addicted to them. Love them so much.

Thanks for your comment. The brass band was founded in 1961. The familiar orange uniforms have remained unchanged for more than 50 years since the 1970s. The watchwords of this team are "full of energy," "full of smiles," and "full of dreams. Please continue to support them.

Like to see them having fun and sharing the fun to the people around them.

I agree. The team's slogan is "Full of energy! Full of smiles! Full of dreams!"
Yes, the KT band was more exiting and powerful back then. It’s nice to see Mentapu (Nanaho Shima), the current KT marching coach on drums. The recent KT band is more musically fine-tuned by the current musical director to win competitions, but in return, they lost the powerful “fun” factor that they had in the past. I hope they will try to recover that.
