Nice win. Just a suggestion, but if you're going to duel wield you should to to make sure both weapons are the same type. That way you can take advantage of proper L1 attacks.

Try bleed, that and a good stagger weapon. Makes it pretty simple, but you still have to learn the patterns

Probably a good thing that got nerfed, it flew far too close to the sun. Still wish I had known about it for the final boss but hey whats Fingerprint Shield for?

Thank you for watching! Very much agree, really didn't know what his moveset was coming in and tried to learn and react accordingly. Very fun fight and a great early boss for the game.

You can relatively easily 0-hit him with melee from horseback. Had to do that just this afternoon because he would 1-hit kill me. lol. @@conceptjt

I first fought him in Dragonbarrow on normal difficulty by accident and I ended up mastering his moveset since he oneshot me with most of his attacks. I too abused status effects. Apparently that is the hardest instance of him, and I shouldn't have been there to even fight him yet, so every other time I encountered Elemer/Bell Bearing Hunter it just felt stupid easy. Only time I had trouble since is when I fought him with a colossal weapon, which seem to be far too slow during most of his openings. Giza's Wheel in particular. Terrible weapon.

I played a bleed heavy build the first time through and wanted to beat everything with Dark Moon Greatsword and something else cold this time. For some bosses, it, uh, doesn't work the best.

@@conceptjt magic in elden ring its not good, that sword its a magic type, if you Want to use other weapons, use a fire or ice weapon, or a weapon with dark fire. if you want a challenge. Dark moon its not ice its magic

Dark fire looks like a lot of fun to play with. I might try that next time. Thank you for the recommendation! Dark Moon does a little frost build up but the magic is so strong. Very fun to play with.

I mean, it was a little messy, but he beat it. And honestly I think the fight's more fun without Torrent, you can dodge properly and don't have to worry about any dismount-to-pancake combos. That would suck in NG+.

Do yourself a favor and try Elden Ring lol. You never know you just might wanna play games again. I haven’t stopped playing games since 1988 when my mom got me the NES for my 6th birthday. Even now I still get antsy in my pantsies for some releases. Especially this new DLC Shadow of the Erdtree lol

@@thesinaclwon I think I have a few years on you. I remember receiving the NES to replace our Atari. Also, I’m pretty sure no human being has ever logged more hours on Mega Man 2 than I have. 😎 I simply don’t have time these days to play, but here and there I watch ten maybe twenty minutes of cinematics or in game play just because it’s so impressive and entertaining.

Thank you dude! He gains a lot more health and more damage on NG+. Then he gains a little more of each with NG++ and each new cycle after. But that jump from NG to NG+ is very noticeable.

Good fight but you should have used the blood bullet mechanic so you could have kept using r2 in the 3rd stage

You're right. In hindsight after watching it back, I probably would've had an easier time with this fight had I used blood bullet and mixed in l2/r2.
