The school system induces hate crime. Free range kids (home schooling) allows children to develop their own interests/future. Schools challenge, bully and defect each child from their own personal strengths and weaknesses, it's military. It can only result in disaster or a false future.

Two important things I took away from this film. First, Tom's explanation of their mum's despair over why other people can't be more accepting. Second, the entire last monologue of the film. It's strange how others view those labeled / diagnosed with Autism. In many respects, I think "autism" is the wrong word. I think the more appropriate term is "authentic". Charlie is much more aware of who he is (his identity) than most people. Good film.

This film needs to be shown in every single school. Poor Charlie all that upset for being different. And yet we are ALL DIFFERENT. A powerful film. I his should be shown on TV AS well. I want to know what happened to the bullies. I hope they have been locked up and the key thrown away. They should be made to right the wrong they did. Repair all the damage they did, to Charlie's house. Compensation paid to him. And then be locked up!!

+Katharine Salte I imagined things like this happening, but the abusers would be more crafty. I have mild Aspergers and but growing up I've been bullied. But now I'm more confident, I know the signs of abuse and I know how to get help. That helped me, when I was scared and alone. I live with my siblings now, but I know I have the capability to live on my own if I choose and that's a wonderful gift.

I have had epilepsy now for 43 years... A fabulous film which points out that both children and adults mustn't make fun of those who have a medical or other problem which is different to another person! I am also a 'HAPPINESS HERO'.

This video is a good example of disability hate crime awareness so if you or someone you know is being bullied Because of their disability Please encourage them to talk don't let them suffer in silence.😀
