Yo this is really helpful dude! Thanks a lot! Earned yourself a sub! Quick question, does the note stabilizer feature you mentioned work in low latency mode? 😊
@leifworld3 күн бұрын
@@justindaepic nope it says in the manual it does not since the feature introduces latency so low latency mode can be experienced

Had regularly been using "Purge unused audio clips" on my old computer several times per recording session, which just removes it from the project (which does help load times!) but then leaves a bunch of stray files hanging around in your folder for forever with no way to efficiently clean them out (I had like 100GB of useless recordings before I switched computers). Using this method from here on out. Bizarre that you have to select the unused files and then use the macro like that, never would've figured it out otherwise and you're the only resource I found talking about this feature, thanks

Great video production, but all the ceiling knob does in Fruity Limiter is set the Threshold & Max Output Level of the track it's on lol. There's no special sauce or anything it adds to stuff. The difference in null tests you may be hearing could be from exporting to mp3 and having tiny differences in the "starting times" of the files (due to the silence at the start of Mp3 files). Always null test in Wav
@leifworld7 ай бұрын
It depends on different Beats for me, but I always export in WAV files, to be honest I do swear I think there’s a difference to it I’m not gonna lie, but I have to challenge that with people if I’m gonna say that lol
@seigeinc7 ай бұрын
@@leifworld Yeah. No hate, just trying to help lol. Take a look at the very left of your beats when you did the test right at 6:12 though. I can't tell 100% because of the vid quality but the "Limited" Wav file looks like it starts immediately, and the Mp3 file has that tiny tiny gap at the start. Even if they are 100% starting at the same time, if you compare a wav to an mp3 there will naturally be differences due to the compression in the Mp3 export, and I think that's the "lost data" from file compression you're hearing when you flipped the phase
@leifworld7 ай бұрын

@Keta0408 ай бұрын
yes it is.
@heatriangle7 ай бұрын
tbf you should remove fruity limiter. until they update it, it’s the worst limiter you can have as it gives you a ton of artifacts if your mix isn’t 1000% perfect already. you want a similar type limiter, you go Pro-L 2; you want something more gentle, you go Slate Digital FG-X or something like that. Fruity Limiter is just bad compared to its alternatives
@SinfulSoulBand7 ай бұрын
Stop exaggerating and just admit you dont know your fundamentals, you're getting lost in the details. All plug ins are capable and the same, youre just bagging FL because you want to feel like someone.
