@@momom6197 The drone ships are no longer in stock, while things like Medusa and Tempest and Paragon that feast on electronic tears - are. So it's my headcanon that AI ships are simply being outmoded and outcompeted by better designs :)

shields are disabled when you run out of CR, he got the [REDACTED] CR low with running circles around the black hole with them chasing and only needed to be in combat range for a little while for their CR to hit 0

"Also, the Pulse Lasers are linked with Flak to bypass AI flux management." Did you use weapon group 1 to do this? This also causes the ship to focus all of its weapons on one target, but only in 0.96. Supposedly in 0.97 that feature has been removed. What's this about AI flux management though?

With regular weapons, AI would conserve flux by not firing when they dont need to and use moderate force, however they would always autofire PDs. So putting any weapon alongside a point defense weapon would make said weapon always fire regardless if the AI has high flux

@@punchslinger I've not really seen this behavior when doing tests in tournaments, but it's hard to tell because the AI also stops firing for a moment whenever it changes targets.

it dont do much to anything bar hull, but it is actually pretty decent weapon if you can melt most armor.

IR autolance is actually incredibly powerful. Just look at the damage 2 of them do on the end stats at the end of the video. 61k hull damage only with TWO Ir Autolances. Also, IR Autolances melt wings.

Nice. This tactic can be used on a certain end-game bounty. Even if they don’t spawn in a BH system they will follow the player, the zealots. Really easy to lure them in the BH, use a story point to disengage and e-burn away, far enough so they won’t detect you. Wait a bit. Sensor burst and they’ll e-burn out of the BH. Of course, cheese, but it’s fun to do once.

As someone who always gets hull restoration and makes extensive use of restoration docks, I feel very uneasy seeing you run a fleet with so many D-mods! Are they necessary so you can have them all on the field at once?
