A. Schiff is evidently recent top virotuoso and promient, excellent interpretor of J.S Bach who is music Lord. His rendition is pieous rather than elaborate and briliant. But my writing is very superficial and narrow compare to here best writing. I envy it. Not because I am not native speaker or l did not major in music but because I do not sufficiently comprehand Bach.

What music to hear at the end of the day. Wonderful. The "order" of Mozart's music is relaxing. Thanks for selecting this.❤

Thank you. (Except for the applause, which spoils the feelings at the end of her performance.)

I think it adds to it, I like observing the audience at the end and seeing their reactions. Some look bored, others amazed.

I do like Andras playing bach very much, but don't know why I felt a beauty of lost of his playing of French Suites. And I feel a bit sad.

J.S.Bach accenna spesso a frasi melodiche di struggente bellezza,ma, appunto, accenna e va oltre, come esplorando l'universo dello scibile.

For all the hundreds of times he must have played these masterful dances, Andras plays them with a wonder and fascination of a first encounter, yet with the precision, line, and joy of someone deeply familiar with each work. The energy and passion is something I haven't heard in other Bach interpretations - not on the piano at least. I will always remember seeing him in Berlin after a chance comp came my way. A precious memory. It was exactly this program, and just as amazing live.

As far as I know, whenever Sir Andás plays a Bach piece on the piano he does so from memory, which is an astounding feat.

Please listen to Blandine Rannou who plays the appropriate instrument and understands inégalité and articulation (completely missing here) and who also understands and explains while she is playing the complex rhythms of the Courante. This man`s piano playing is straight out of the 20th century. The theory was in the 1950s and 1960s that Bach is so precious that his music has to be played clinically sterile. Weird idea but we all have to pay our rent.

Worldwide, Bach is the most popular of all classical composers.
This is perfect - not a note out of place and while at the same time being so lyrical and expressive - it seamlessly emanates from the heart.

Il maestro ha una perfezione e una conoscenza così profonda di Bach che quasi è difficile crederci....tutto a memoria e un espressività mai sentita in vita mia...Sovrumano e meraviglioso!!!❤❤❤❤

I can't say for definite, but i think Andres Schiff knows all of Bach's keyboard music from memory. Extraordinary 😊 to quote him, "I play 2, 4, 6 or 8 preludes and fugues every day of my life, it's like taking a shower and cleansing yourself, something so pure"

Ladies and gentlemen, I love classical music a great deal and have a deep appreciation for all the immortal beloved composers..I'm unable to pull away nor do I want to from the wonderful gravitational orbit of the mighty BACH ...I'm always listening to this awesome music..we are blessed in more ways than one to have the pleasure and luxury to enjoy all this with the magic of modern day technology...JS bach is a musical phenomenon for ever...the music compels us in a very positive and satisfying way to come back for more...mr.Bach you are the composers composer ❤.

I had a recording of Gould his humming in the background of the recording drove me nuts. He was widely admired by many people but for that extra music cancelled any enjoyment of his genius.
