This excellent and solid presentation is not just nice words, sentiments, feelings, and ideas. It is not just uplifting and inspiring. It features a great deal of published scientific research on the substantial down to earth benefits of meditation. It is fundamental and important to understand that Earth civilization is entering the age of science. Humanity is entering the age of spirituality, spiritual science, and leaving the age of religion. The heart and mind are going to integrate, the artist and the scientist. Quantum mechanics is going to lead science and integrate with Newtonian science. We are entering a different age, and the UN's declaration of World Meditation Day is a great big sign - a significant sign of the sign of Aquarius - the new age of scientific spirituality is not wishful thinking or just myth. Our civilization as it has been is not sustainable, but dysfunctional, and it is going to upgrade, and is shifting quickly now. It is widely recognized that we are no longer living in the modern age, we are living in the postmodern age. We are in a transitional period between the modern age and - what? Thousands of spiritual visionaries have stated that the postmodern age will be not only positive, but wonderful - a time in which all of humanity's significant problems no longer exist. Natural and artificial intelligence are also going to integrate and be guided by consciousness. This special spiritual scientific presentation on this special day, the 2024 Winter Solstice, on which the world's primary global institution of nations has unanimously decided to perennially honor as the Day of inward practice of meditation, marks a major point of transition between the past age of problems, and the dawning age of solutions, happiness, higher consciousness, love, health, and togetherness. Every year as the New Age of Awakening dawns, World Meditation Day and the world will grow, and grow, and grow, and this Day, and this scientifically spiritual presentation, will be remembered for a long, long time as a significant signpost in the transition of the Ages. Thank you for this landmark presentation.

A digital computer is very much like a human brain except it does not have autonomous goals like humans. Our goal is survival. A computers goals are determinned by humans using program. We take continuous information and convert it into discrete information. For example, sound and light are “digitized” by photoreceptors and cochlear receptors into nerve impulses. The brain further converts those to more compact discrete information packets (symbols) like letters and numbers, words, concepts (house, dog, friend, “mind” etc.). Those symbols are compared just like a CPU does with a result of either same or different; Yes/No, hot/cold and so on - hence our dualistic mindset. Consciousness is just the imposition on our calculations of a goal set by our brainstem: Are we healthy? In pain? Hungry? Horny? And so on - our biological drives. Your brainstem is constantly reminding you what you need to do to survive, and your brain figures out how to do it. The taste of an orange is simply a sensation - but when your brain recognizes it and your mind says “that’s an orange!” - that’s consciousness.

It's not expensive at all. Scholarships are available if you can't afford it. The best investment you will ever make.

good question....as long as Governments are not supporting it, there are many costs to upkeep a world wide Organisation.....however there are ways even from the TM Organisation to have scholarships if aplicable....I hope this answered your question

@@pete71 I told you, for special cases it is possible to get scholarships, a lot of time involved in teaching TM properly and a lot of attention, TM Teachers have to live too., advertising has to be done, offices have to be kept, burocratic work needs to be done, taxes have to be payed.....and for any type of coaching etc. it is a more than fair price, look closer into it, if you have doubts.....

It really bothers me that TM cost a lot of money and they always say you have to learn by one on one teacher because of the mantra bla bla bla. This is pure business to the TM community. And this technique should be shared to everyone because it brings so many benefits to the mind and to the body. I share to you how to practice TM without BS!!! Step by Step: 1- Sit in a chair 2-Relax your shoulders and neck 3-Start breathing normally and naturally. 4-Choose a word or sound that you like, (It dosent have to be a MANTRA that a teahcer gives you and all that BS stuff!) For example you can choose the word "peace". 5-With your eyes closed, sitting in a chair and breathing with the nose only, start breathing naturally repeating the word you choose mentally and ONLY IN THE EXHALE this is important since the exhale activates the Parasympathetic system. Example: Inhale, Exhale and mentally repeat "peace" or the word you choose. 6-Do this for 15 to 20 minutes twice a day! THE END! Every time a thought comes to mind, just be aware that you got distracted and keep breathing normally repeating the word in every exhale. It dosent matter if the word has meaning, it can have meaning or not, this dosent matter, it is just a vehicle or tool to give your mind a job, and with few minutes the MANTRA will silences as well as thoughts. This can happen for a period of seconds, that is when you experience complete silence. Simple and easy, with time your mind really silenced by doing this exaercise and gives you the oportunity to experience a very deep and natural state of mind. This also relaxes your muscles and regulates your heart rate, blood pressure and digestion. That is all folks! You are welcome!!

According to bhagwad gita there are three ways of achieving this knowledge 1. Gyaan yoga or path of knowledge (which i believe dr. Faggin came upon) 2. Bhakti yoga or path of love (love thy neighbor as yourself philosophy in catholic culture or love for krishna in Hinduism as example) 3. Karma yoga or path of selfless service
