The bentgrass seed is so tiny I felt like even my hand spreader set on 1 was still too much. Seemed like it was just pouring out. I ended up making a "seed shaker" out of a peanut butter jar that I drilled holes in lol

Haha when I do my nurseries I use a salt shaker! I do 1 on the hand spreader and barely put pressure on the trigger

I would advise to get a small oscillating fan or maybe 2 and put one on both sides for airflow to keep it alive in the summer. I had 2 fans on my 1000 sqft green and it looked great all summer

Ya I’d have to have a couple going 24/7 since the humidity in southern Tennessee is crazy. We have a course in our area that has bent and between the lack of rain and humidity they’re constantly losing their greens. It’s a fools errand haha

I ordered some too in August, love it so much I killed Monaco bermuda to switch to 31, getting sod in a few weeks, spreading much faster on my shadier side than Monaco, at least 6 to 1 ratio in runner growth

Bermuda is terrible. A better option is Buffalo grass which is actually what he's grown. That's not Bermuda

@@jakefromupstatefarm it's very similar Buffalo grass is better because it doesn't seed and it doesn't have underground rubber so it's much easier to manage. It's also a low growth, no mow, so you can let it billow, it cut it like normal grass.

Hi Jake. What do you recommend for the picatinny modified Henry? Red dot or traditional sight. I want it for defense purposes. Probably something that can be used day or night. I have a Winchester 30 also with the same issues.
