I’ve been having a problem with my procreate, can you help please? I’m trying to make myself brushes which I’ve done in the past but when I try to create a new one, it freezes in the create mode. It won’t allow me to touch shape anymore. No idea why it keeps freezing. Looked to see if there’s an update, but nope. Pretty frustrating. Please help me figure this problem out. Thanks!

Long winded, but what has he really done for the industry besides the color wheel! Nothing but grow his side hustle that over priced called tattoo smart, it reminds me of Ed Hardy and the clothing line that morphed into tattoo conventions that where the snobby artist from with in the industry. To many bug named artist that are tight lipped about the industry. But I’ll be criticized for this comment as it is envies about their success, as tattoo smart products are mainly geared toward the younger or new artist that doesn’t have a larger flash library or the easy that the body canvases help the artist see the layout and custom see how it will look. Products and tools fantastic but prices are pricey! Just like the tattoo network/ fireside, or reinventing tattooing has good podcast but are long winded, while the 3 minute to better tattooing is fantastic, but neither Mr. Abbott or the tattoo network- fireside/ reinventing tattooing are willing or care to help shop owners/ artists who want to create their own shop. Dispute there is no financial assistance available for tattoo artist/ shops But what do I know it’s rant that is personal and zero people will give positive or constructive feedback

This is Russ… it’s seems like your main comment is that Tattoo Smart prices are too high for you. We do offer deep discounts immediately for signing up to put emails… then at times like Black Friday and Cyber Monday the deals are really huge. We aim to make professional level products that are affordable to professional artists. The fact that people have been buying and we have 8 years in business supporting our team is a testament that our customers value our products highly enough to purchase. Our return customer rate is also very high so people continue to come back time and time again. Also, our average customer has been tattooing for close to a decade. It sounds like you’re possibly coming from outside the USA where the money that tattoo artists charge is somewhat lower?

@@Tattoosmart yah that's the thing people expect your quality and experience but at price that leave me bleeding... meaning they want a 500$ tattoo for 100-150$ but when I dont get to tattoo daily I end up taking those jobs. Like I said, my comment will not go far as there are so many artists that love buying your product the selling it to make 1000% profit or because they have the money to do so. But artist like me who struggled to do a tattoo weekly cant afford your products as I have already bought few products from you! But still comes down to the people who make podcast for free dont offer assistance to make or grow a business. As I'm nothing but a hater who cant break into the industry as I have had traditional training and training course in person and online. Have business plans, marketing plan and open to suggestions but no one gives a f*** or wants competitor even if it's a different area or state. Furthermore the industry is full of individual who refuse to unite weather is state, regional or national to remove government oversight and govern the industry itself. Most artists are I'll informed or chose to think it wont happen. ... but I say again ignore me a hater how will never amount to sh it and should just give up on breathing

Grime is the man but imma just keep on drawing water and waves so I don’t lose the plot and forget how to draw finger waves etc. Grime did mention a great book that may be better than having a bunch of stamps that are lifeless. Stamps are really hard to use and they make tattoos look super stiff. A combo of both can sometimes work but it’s hard to make an entire tattoo feel soulful by solely using an iPad. Not hating just keeping it real. Peace and love 🙌🤌❤️

We don’t disagree with you. We look at flash stamps as a reference tool and a way to get ideas on the screen quickly… but we still believe in drawing and the artist adding their spin on it. Thanks for the comment.

Hey russ, Kyle here. how do you appraoch your 3d work flow with a clients body map? i map most clients when designing sleeves and such. best solution i have found is warping the clients body map to the 2d layer of they closest approprate matching model. just wondering if you have herd or found a better soloutuion? thanks for always putting out help info!

Hey Kyle, I’m always experimenting and seeking the best solution. With a few recent projects I used the clients body map more towards the end of the design process just to see where I need to adjust the design before any final outlines were printed as stencils.

Great video, I have a recommendation. Please add rulers...there's no reason why procreate should NOT have rulers! Also, we need a way to arc text.....and since we're on the subject, we need a way to display special characters from fonts that have them. That is all. Thank you :)

I agree that procreate has very awesome features, including stabilization, however, you better practice practice and practice more, because that stencil has to go on someones body, and there is no magic button to keep your machine stabile.

I love the quickness and stuff but I feel it not benefit me to be better at drawing i want to realy draw and shade things . instead of dropping colors i im investing in more brushes and want to make my own fav folder or as example a greywash set so I get the tattoo feeling ( doesn't need necessary the tattoo card brushes because the ones I tried did not realy feel real ) But I use the world famous set a lot , and the noire ink set . i want to design and color with this tones because that would give me the best reference offcourse . Not have all the knowledge yet but love to get it like when I get the ghost wash then it is that tone and offcourse I want to build it up but now I can make too dark tones from the lightest wash so the speak even when tje opacity is not in the max . So anyone have some tips :) Because its a great tool also the 3D models it has so much potential if it didnt have the one flaw that make it useless . You cant design decent on the inside positions inner arm , inner bicep , inner forearm outside all is great but the inside doesn't connect If you guys can make that work then its real game changer . dont hating on you , you kindly aknnowledges the problem already a big while back . Love your customer service ! Hoped you fixed the problem but as I understand even after the update this problem still exist . for me its a deal breaker and that is so sad because its so powerful so fingers crossed hihi
