Mine is tomorrow on 10/6/24 hopefully I’ll pass!! Edit: I passed with only 3 mistakes! Everything is pretty much the same they just make you go another way to get to Diaz road. So you exit, make a left and then go onto it

@@arm2ndo516 Just had mine and had a similar question; the answer is that you must come to a FULL STOP before turning right given that the traffic is clear and that all vehicles in the right of way have passed UNLESS noted otherwise by a traffic light or sign that indicates no turn on red (ex: a red arrow traffic light, or a sign saying NO TURN ON RED) Not turning right when it’s red given all safe conditions and having full stopped might get you flagged for some sort of error for not knowing how to properly navigate the roads

Took this test today and passed super easily. This test is rlly easy u should have no problem at all don’t be nervous. I honestly don’t know how people failed this I mean if you did u had to be really nervous and scared so just be confident I promise you it’s not that hard. I had 3 errors only being traffic checks and my speed once so just make sure your constantly scanning the area and moving your head so your instructor sees that. Also everyone in the comments saying be careful about speed blah blah it’s sooo easy and overthinking about this was the last thing I should have done. Also only difference in this video is on one of the turns on coming back to the dmv he had me go straight instead of taking the right turn to go back to the dmv but literally it’s all the same thing. Good luck in your test you go this guys 🙏🙏

Took my second test and failed. The speed limit you see when you first get onto the bridge is the same all the way until you exit old town. Also 10 miles over the speed limit is an automatic fail so pay attention to the 25 Mile per hour sign before the bridge and continue going that speed until you exit old town.

@@cynthia7616 Just make sure you stop at stop signs and check you mirrors and blind spots regularly I took my test with Brandon which made me happy because I’ve heard Jason is annoying to test with the route was basically the same as in the video the backing was easy the parking in the dmv took a few to find a spot otherwise I’d suggest leaving a hour before your test if you have an appointment Goodluck on your test tomorrow!

Taking my test today, I WILL pass! 🤭✨️ Edit: I never got to take my test because the passenger seatbelt was a bit stuck. Everyone can fit into it fine, but since the instructor was a little chubby, he said he unfortunately was too big and that we had to get it fixed. 😂 2nd Edit: I passed.

passed!! got this exact route except when you turn onto rancho california towards the end, he just had me continue to the light and then turn right. failed three times previously in hemet, but only got three minor errors in temecula 🙏 all i got marked off for was not scanning the road as often as i should (did traffic checks at every obvious intersection, but neglected to for side roads in business and residential areas), and made wide turns (this was a conscious effort since one of my fails was from hitting a curb on a right turn in hemet)

@@cynthia7616 practice the route! especially right before the test if you can. id recommend around old town specifically since that i can see that being the hardest part of the test for most people since it isn't like many areas you likely will have practiced/will drive often in the future. i got docked for taking wide turns, but this is 100% preferable over hitting a curb which is an automatic failure. keep an eye out for speed limits (especially around some turns that are 15 mph). the business district is 25, as is old town. i'm not sure if they're still doing construction (they were during my test a few weeks ago), but if you encounter it the limit is 25 unless there stated otherwise. when you're coming out of old town do NOT speed up, ive gathered that's where many people fail because they assume the speed limit changes despite no signs saying so. it's easier said than done, but try not to get so into your head and if in doubt just use common sense. i encountered a semi truck blocking the intersection during a green light during my test and i just came to a stop, checked my surroundings, and drove around it like i saw other people doing in front of me. the instructor made no mention of this, so i assume i did the right thing lol. also when merging lanes remember SMOG - signal, check your mirrors, over your shoulder, and go (merge while maintaining your speed). i wish you luck and i hope you pass!

I just took my test today 1/3/24 and passed with 3 mistakes. Test was scheduled at 2.40 but did not start until 3.30. Definitely suggest practicing few times on this route before you take the actual test. Good luck!!

I failed LOL. When turning right on Diaz Road, I started turning when someone was making a left turn and the person behind them was going straight. The instructor stopped me before I could even start the turn which is an automatic fail :< Do not make that mistake, it hurts to fail so quickly.

@@Tri.17 Hemet is much better because the course is easier and the parking lot is less crowded. I went at 10am and there was plenty of parking. Temecula on the other hand was a nightmare. Either way you got this and if you have any questions I’m happy to answer any of them 😊😊😊

I just took my test today on 11/27/23 and passed with 0 mistakes, my test was scheduled at 9am but didn’t take it until closer to 10 but I got Jason. I see how some people think he’s mean but he’s a nice and chill person he’s just more upfront about things that you can improve on or mistakes that you make. The course is very easy if you practice it a couple times in advance, just be careful for speed changes and sharp turns. Always do your traffic checks and SMOG when changing lanes. Goodluck everyone!

I recently got mine, 3rd attempt :P. This route is simple but just that you have to practice this route with a known person at least 2-3 times before your test. The 15 mile turns, speed limits, old town. Don't speed up as you leave old town. Do mirror and shoulder checks well to be visible to them. Jason and Brandon best guys there !

It’s been about 5 years since I got my license and this course was exactly the same. But if anyone else has taken it did you get an instructor that was an older white guy, maybe mid to late 40s, short hair, glasses, a little facial hair, and I believe he was wearing short sleeve plaid buttton up. I’m trying to be specific, but that man was the worst driving instructor I’ve ever seen. He jerked the wheel from me while I was getting into the left lane, he lied to my face and said I almost went head on with cars when there weren’t even cars coming our way, and I know I wasn’t crossing any lines. Even his attitude from the beginning, very rude, almost power hungry type behavior. I wanted to so badly call him out because he wasted my time so he could get off on failing another person, since he’d already failed 4 prior to me. I went back to retake it, I even set up a dash cam in hopes that I’d get that dude again, but I was given a black dude with dreads who was cool. I passed but I wanted to leave a complaint about the first instructor. Obviously the lady I told just thought I was an angry kid who was mad about failing, but I’m not afraid of admitting when I’m wrong. Even years later I stand by that dude needing to be fired. Wish I knew his name, If anyone’s done there test here you may know who I’m talking about, he has a little reputation over there.

i just took my test and failed to a dude who sounded just like that i was so pissed and cried. i didn’t even get to do the curb parking he made me go in a circle then pull back into the dmv. i had less than 15 points knocked off too and he automatically failed me for “not looking in the mirror” when i clearly was. his name is jason and he fits exactly your description

@@kaya5668 I wish I could remember his name, but yea he sounds like the guy. If I could go back I would’ve had a dash cam going. It’s been years and I stand by my thoughts on him. He grabbed my steering wheel and lied to my face saying I almost went head on with traffic while I was getting into the turning lane. It just sucks because you can’t really confront him because he’s so highly ranked at the Temecula DMV. You can try to contact cooperate and give them his name and description along with your complaint. If you can reach the right people, I’ll leave a complaint as well. Dudes not fit to work in that position he belongs behind a desk away from the public.

still accurate as of 8-8-23. i’m 19 and failed twice because of my fear and anxiety. My permit expires on the 12th so i only had a a couple days to get it done. if you’re struggling please practice the route and have faith in yourself, if i can do it, you can do it!!

Got my license today thanks to this video. Just be very conscious of your speed and Temecula is a very good test not to pass first try, but to properly prepare you for the road. It’s very strict, but it’s good to be well practiced making it safer when you start traveling

Passed first try with 1 error, pretty straight forward test. Make sure to physically drive this route before taking the test. Dont skip lanes like in the back where the business buildings are and go in the middle lane then merge into the lane your going in. Same goes after leaving old town temecula dont skip into the third lane just merge to the third once in your second lane. Make sure to go 25 Mph at the sign, entering old town and leaving. Merge in the broken white lines in the bike lane and check over your shoulder.

I passed on my first try today!!! I only got 1 error and that was not entering the bike lane on a right turn, the examiner even said literally nobody goes into the bike lane so it's a pretty minor error. He said great job and keep it up! I took the test on 4/18/2023 by the way and this is the exact route I took. I went with Jason and he was pretty chill, definitely a talker tho which is fine, kinda took my nerves off tbh. Honestly this video is how i memorised the course/ speed limits and common failures, like the one exiting old town, so thank you!

4/14/23 same route w jason as the examiner who was really chill and laidback. i passed w only one error which was at 7:56 where i made the turn to fast other than that its pretty straightforward and be very aware of the speed limit since they change alot also at 7:28 you turn into the 3rd lane since you’re going to make a right at the next street the instructor told me to do so. At 2:12 you also want to get into the middle lane as shown and it wont deduct points. Try and do traffic checks before entering any intersection and SMOG checking when switching lanes ( signal, mirror, over the shoulder ) once the test finished he told me how he noticed that I was constantly doing it.

4/13/2023 it was my first time and i failed because i missed the speed limit sign at 4:06 and went 35 in a 25, however this video is very accurate and is the exact route i took. had i not missed the sign i would’ve passed with 7/15 mistakes. im glad i failed because it allows me to come back again and show that i have improved on my driving and hopefully pass the second time around. 4/28/23 i failed my second test because i made the turn at 3:04 too wide and the left side of my car drifted into the other lane, this time i had the instructor “nick” and he was awesome i really liked him, he was calm and didn’t make me too nervous, but i just need to drive more often so i pass the third time around fingers crossed 🤞 i’ll update when my third test comes around

04/12/2023 - Im taking mine tomorrow, wish me luck! 04/13/2023 - I failed for the same reason as Allie, going 35 in a 25 so be careful when taking the left on PUJOL 4:00 cause the sign says 25 til leaving old town. UPDATED 05/02/2023 I passed second try being aware of my mistake, just remember to slow down to 15MPH on sharp turns and watch over your shoulders for Blind Spots Stay positive and believe in yourself! Good Luck!

What does he look like? Sounds like the dude I had. Complete asshole, I’m a very calm person and it’s hard to rile me up, but he treated me like I was a moron, then lied to my face so he could fail me. He’s the reason I have a dash cam to this day.

that left turn you made to Rancho California by the end, is that not for the other side to make their right turn on red? my sister reminds me whenever I make that mistake and is grateful I haven’t gotten in an accident because that is their lane.. idk pls help out.

No, your sister is wrong. See the video description for an explanation. Right turns do not have priority in lane selection--they have to go to the right most lane. On the other hand, left turns can go into any lane, unless there are additional lane restrictions/markings such as this intersection.
