@@sampledrummer4514Yes, I bought it on Amazon because it was cheaper but it actually shipped from drummers Workshop. Let me say, drums are not my primary instrument. Piano and organ are. I started drumming double basses again to steady my organ pedal playing. Before purchasing, I contacted the tech at Pacific Drums who was pushing me towards the DW double chain models, emphasizing that the PDP was more of an entry-level pedal. But when it arrived I was very surprised that it's build was much more sturdy than appears in the pictures. I do find it very responsive and I like the feel of the direct drive. No side to side sloppiness like my old single chain Pearl. I've read reports of loose beaters and not being able to tighten things. Not true! Now would this pedal stand up to a Mike Portnoy? I doubt it, but to an average player I would say no problem. I can't say whether it's better than your DW3000. That's a pretty serious pedal you've got. Note that on the PDP it only has single supports for each cam where yours has two. I would think that'll hold up better over time. But for me no worries. Watch that video again. Notice that with the double chain how the beaters have a natural wobble during his stops but just stay still with the direct drive. I personally like that in the direct drive but some might miss that feel. I would recommend you call pacific drums and ask them how it compares to your DW3000. Good luck!

Tommy doesn’t play his cowbells with the crappy Ridgerider plastic dampening. It was LP’s poor marketing. He was playing his signature cowbell upside down, and now the Ridgerider is fully removed for 2023 tour 🏟️. *So if you want the true killer 🔥 Tommy Lee cowbell sound, it is without any dampening!*

Didn't he, Like, Play a large part in inventing the original Ridge Rider cowbell?
@grayknight8363 ай бұрын
@@somekidnamedtapu No, Tommy never used the plastic dampening Ridge Rider. He always wants a loud open sound, as do I. it was strictly LP “marketing” back in the 90s.
@grayknight8363 ай бұрын
@@somekidnamedtapu Also Tommy for years used to play the LP Diablo 😈, which I’d like to get a new updated version of. It’s the same as the signature Chad Smith cowbell without the crappy plastic Ridge Rider. LP just custom painted 🎨 the Classic Ridge Rider for marking. I bet you Tommy wanted to Diablo/Chad Smith model without the Ridge Rider, but LP probably wouldn’t make it because they think it wouldn’t sell without the crappy Ridge Rider. LP wouldn’t want artists 🥁 with the same model, just a different paint jobs.
@somekidnamedtapu3 ай бұрын
@@grayknight836 He was the reason they invented the original Ridge Rider cowbell. If you dislike it, That's on you. Other people love the sound and durability of the ridge. Why can't you just let them be? They're gonna put thought into their purchase and if they dislike the cowbell, They could always return it. (It's also a bit hard for me to take you seriously with all those emojis.)
