Honestly, Gilgamesh might be the most consistently powerful in a straight up 1v1 due to multiple reasons. 1. He was given the job to support Thena when she went on a rampage 2. He was the most damaging when it came to fighting Deviants 3. They needed to kill him off early or it would’ve been too easy to take on Ikarus 4. One of the best when it comes to pure combat ability but comes 3rd or 4th in power(s) Thena: 1. Consistently the best when it comes to pure technical combat abilities. Unmatched in melee combat 2. Above average stats 3. Versality is 4th on the team 4. Usefulness is top tier in battles Makari: 1. easily the fastest one by far with the only person capable of consistently reacting to her being Ikarus 2. One of the most capable in combat due to quick thinking and reaction time 3. Probably the 2nd or 3rd most useful in group fights. Ikarus: 1. The most consistently powerful out of the eternals(consistency is important because it raises the ranking of the character due to increasing chances of being at their max potential spot) 2. Only second to Makari in reaction time 3. Base speed is the fastest but far behind Makari 4. Max Fly speed is probably faster than Makari but takes longer to speed up and gain power 5. Laser Eyes, probably the most underwhelming part of him but is still consistently for potent than his pure strength 6. Consistently able to combat the most powerful Deviants, with only Thena and Phastos having consistent feats which compare to his power Phastos: 1. The most versatile of the bunch 2. Has the most defensive capabilities out of all of them 3. Even without prep time he is still top tier 4. Although both him and Ikarus were holding back in the last fight he was able to incapacitate Ikarus pretty quickly with some help 4a. He held back not in effort but in a way in which he doesn’t use lethal means 4b. Ikarus held back not in lethal means, but held back his effort in battle(remember there is more than one way to hold back) My favorite character- Kingo: 1. Probably one of the lowest in pure consistent power 2. Max power ceiling is probably top 3 out of all of the Eternals 3. His feats are lacking in showing his power ceiling since there were very few times he could charge up a shot 4. But he is mostly a glass canon as he doesn’t have many showings in durability, speed, or physical power 5. If we ignore stats his ability to adapt to battle and create on the spot strategies seems to be one of the best 6. 3rd in terms of over all creativity Last and definitely not weakest- Sersei: 1. The most inconsistent character when showing any power 2. On the weak side of pure stats, being easily stabbed while caught off guard by the physically weakest character 3. Has one of the weakest(in usefulness) power feats out of all of them 4. Has the highest power ceiling out of all of the eternals, so pre-final battle im putting her exactly in the middle 5. After the final battle she is probably the most powerful, with only her combat prowess lacking Combat Power Ranking- 1. Ikarus 2. Tie between Phastos and Gil 3. Sersei 4. Makari 5. Thena 6. Druic 7. Kingo 8. Sprite 9. Alak Reasons: 1. Ikarus is the most consistently powerful, needing multiple top tier fighters to put him down. Although most of the top tiers can give him trouble while in a 1v1 due to his lack of battle iq, he still outranks them because of a pure stat advantage. With a pretty high power ceiling if he has enough time to reach top speeds 2. Gil and Phastos are tied because although they are opposites in battle, with Phastos being a support and Gil being a tank, they are both consistently top tiers in battle. Gil having better battle iq and vastly superior base strength than even ikarus. Phastos with the greatest battle iq and defenses which can easily take the most powerful hits. Due to this I’m putting them at number 2. 3. Sersei is number 3 because her power ceiling is so high the difference between the most powerful eternal and her is like the difference between heaven and hell. But, she has horrible confidence, battle iq, and stats(especially reaction speed). 4. I’m putting Makari here because her stats can even surpass Ikarus in some instances and has too 3 battle iq but less technique than the other top tiers. 5. Thena was a close 4th but still above the lower tiers by leaps and bounds due to the above average stats with her best feats being her strength comparable to Ikarus and combat skill greater than the others. 6-9 is self explanatory because most of them are tier below the others besides maybe Kingo

I loved eternals, but because it was a first movie for that type of multiverses shit, it was super rough around the edges. It would’ve helped to have been a series and then release a movie for a finale

Wrong, wrong and wrong. You have to be an oldie like me to know how these beings are actually ranked. You didn't even bother mentioning the "dreaming celestial, Exitar the Exterminator or The One Above All (celestial version of the king). The Dreaming Celestial was imprisoned by the fourth host, on earth under a mountain because he became too ambitious and too powerful. He would have been third of the list. Next you have Exitar. Remember Arishem is only the judge of whether a species gets to live or not. He is the judge able to manifest himself across time and space in many different galaxies and solar systems to render a judgement on a species. It takes him 50 years of observation (in our time) to arrive at a judgement which is why he is able to manifest himself and be in many places all at once. However who resets the planets or destroys the planets? Right. The giant Exitar (the average celestial is 2000 feet tall. Exitar is 10,000 feet tall). His powers are incredible. Perhaps the living manifestation of power incarnate. He cannot be defied. Arishem would be fouth or fiftn in power level. Now we get to the leader of them all "The One Above All". A celestial of immense and incalculable power. Able to bend time and space at will. This celesial is as the name suggests above them all. (Thor encountered both Exitar and The One Above All in early MCU comics. He was less than an ant to them. These beings transcent Asgardians or Olympians). The only beings more powerful than the multiversal Celestials are the unknowable Beyonders. Being that transcend everything we know. So that is how it waters itself down.

Phoenix Force is NOT a Celestial. It is more powerful than Any Celestial, besides the ascended version of Tiamut. So with the ascended form of Tiamut at the top of the Celestial list I'd put TOAA (Celestial) in 2nd place. After that I'll defer to others. I'd put Ego at the bottom of the Celestial list bc he's not a Celestial... the true Celestials are above him in power.
