I’m seeing it tomorrow! I’m so excited! I have seen it as a stage production both on tour and on Broadway, so I’m really looking forward to what the film will bring to the table!

@@kenkenreviewswell, I saw it!! I absolutely loved it, and experienced all of the emotions! It was so different from the stage production, purely because they can do lots more in film than onstage, but overall I felt they stayed true to the original production and story, and i really enjoy the extra moments they throw in the film, especially *that* moment in Defying Gravity. I love both Cynthia and Ariana’s performances in the film! The singing was amazing! Now I can’t stop listening to the soundtrack, and I can’t wait for part 2!

@ I’ve been all over that soundtrack since! Defying Gravity depiction had a Marvelesque level moment on screen with the whole flight sequence! Wicked movie (pun intended) 😆

I was blown away by both leads. I was particularly impressed with Ariana Grande because I think Glinda is the harder of the two roles -- Elphaba is inherently good while Glinda starts off as a "mean girl" but she can't be a Regina George mean girl so it's a fine line to walk, but Grande nailed it perfectly. Plus I had no idea she could dance so well. She IS Glinda. That said , Cynthia Erivo took full advantage of the big screen and facial close-ups in ways that aren't possible in a stage production to convey the true sadness and basic sweetness of Elphaba that without the perfect execution by Erivo can come across as just rebellious angst in a stage production.

Arianaaaaa???!!!! righttttt??? she really shocked me. i know she done few sitcoms and all but this is a big and rich character and she nailed it!! and i agree Cynthia brought an edge that cant be captured on the stage with the closeups

@kenkenreviews if they wanted to create there own story in the second age, that's fine, the shadow of war/mordor games did it, and it it far better than the 250000000 amazon series, the issues I have is it doesn't feel like it's taking place in the Tolkien universe the characters are poorly written, and the writers don't understand the universe there working in, Jackson's films felt like Tolkien, rings of power feels like marvel

Okay I'm going to be honest, I've never heard of this movie before, and it's not really the type of movie that I would usually be interested in, but after I heard that Jenna Ortega is going to be in it I wanted to know what it's about so because of that I watched the original before the second one came out and then I watched the second one and I loved them both, and I'm also going to be honest and say that if it wasn't for Wednesday I probably would've never noticed Jenna Ortega just like I would've never noticed Hugh Jackman if it wasn't for Wolverine!!

show has a great base but the characters are DUMB as rocks.... dude is fast as flash, deals weed (20$ bag lmao) to get money, he could have a million in cash every 5min with that ability.... same with the invisible guy, they set up a meet for a kilo, HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH so dumb, main guy stupidly refuses to tell his fiancé what he found out, he is risking her life even more by keeping her in the dark I know it's a fantasy show but a certain level of common sense and logic HAS to be present.. I'm 3 episodes in but already see that these illogical stupid things will bring the score down for me significantly

I actually watch all of it and it was okay at best. Some episode were good and other was head scratching. For example, the green ghost going around stealing money for the poor like he the anti robin hood.

Just in time for your review. How it going today? It about time that the alien franchise got this one right. Pretty good movie, storyline was good, not an all-star cast and of course, the alien show its butt off as usual. This is what happen when you go on a ship not knowing what on it and end up getting toss like a tin can on the street. Well done with your review.

I was Feeling this,at first it was a lil disney,but when it took off,yoooo it didnt hold back,i had them Ripley vibes coming back. Supacell was THE best show I've seen in several decades. I loved every moment. Loved seeing actual Black people. And, though I'm in Washington, DC (USA), I loved seeing and hearing the South London people get to do their own accents instead of changing to make others comfortable. It was brilliant! The cinematography, casting, acting, costuming, set design, EVERYTHING, I loved it. And I never heard of ANY of the people in the series or behind the scenes before this show, so the love they're getting across the world is because of the excellence of the series and not just because people support a specific name. *I pray Rapman does more seasons of Supacell, and does them exactly the way HE wants. I don't want him listening to other people telling him what **_they_** feel should happen. His original vision is brilliant and I want him to continue.*

I found this to be so AWESOME, It has everything you would expect in a Marvel movie and more. Deffo a must watch. 10/10 and the humour was brilliant I been tell people about Deadpool. I wounder if they will bring out the Deadpool and Thanos movie one day, because as we know, they are the best of friends 😂

The dramatic beginning could have been placed a little further long. I agree with you it was well produced and the transitions were very clear. I don’t know what is missing from Perry’s films in general or whether as you say the unrealistic timings of the characters story lines. But it’s an ok film it could have been an hour rather than 1h 40m.

Perrys films need to studied cos I don’t know if he just gets tired during a late night session and thinks Leme wrap this up quickly or what but the declines from midway r sooo bad. Terrible runtime. He needs to keep them short and sweet, easier to digest.
