And there are many other factors exogenous to food that will affect hormones: plastics, clothes with stain resistance, fire resistance fabrics, many types of non-stick cookware, beauty care products, etc.

The tall target test really works. I put up a 50 yard target and found out pretty quickly the scope is canted ~2°. That was the easy part. Now I need to find a reliable rifle datum to level things up.

I’m curious as to what Leopold says. Perhaps coming from you They won’t argue. but I know several times I told them that my scope wasn’t tracking right and they would not replace it. They always said it is within tolerance.
@paramounttactical12 сағат бұрын
We already received a replacement for it. I have no doubt that having a YT channel and a significant reach prejudices our experience. We’ve also gone scorched earth (when it’s well deserved) on companies that aren’t providing quality customer service. We also have ended retailer relationships with companies that do right regarding product quality or customer service. These are all reasons we don’t do affiliate link nonsense like a lot of KZbin channels. All of that is another good reason to buy from us. If you get a bad product from us 99% of the time, we take care of the problem, give you the replacement and we deal with the manufacturer.
@ardleopard13 сағат бұрын
I really like that you illustrate this problem practically. However, you can also use this fact to your advantage. I typically set up my scope with the slightest of cant so that it cancels out the spin drift of my bullet at 600-1000 yards. If you want to do the math on how much the cant affects your shots, you can take "distance in yards * sin(degrees of cant) / 100" to get how much your shot will be off horizontally. At 100 yards 5 degrees of cant should, theoretically, get you approx 3.14" to left/right.

Top notch info! I viewed Part 1 long before I got my pea shooter .22 (CZ 457 MTR) and mounted my scope perfectly. I used both a bubble level and digital level, confirming it to the upteeth degree (I ran a lab at defense). I will run a tall target test (make my own target) even though so far I sighted it in at 50 yards and then used the Lapua app and got sub-one MOA at 100 yards using Lapua Center-X at 1.9 MIL. With my math and physics background, everything you state is crystal clear. You are a damn good speaker!

Thanks for the comparison. It's very useful. I'm looking at these for my new carry pistols. "Run a light on all your guns at all times, because reasons." Long guns? Yes. Nightstand pistols? Yes. Duty pistols? Yes. CCW guns? Other than for recoil reduction, I don't see the point (and if your plan to activate your pistol light is your trigger finger, or the fingers of your support hand, you're doing it wrong). The concealed carry handgun is a _reactive_ tool: if there's enough ambient light for a felon or felons to find you, there's enough ambient light for you to deal with them. For _proactive_ uses, they make sense: if I were working patrol again, I'd want a light on my duty pistol because hunting trouble is part of the job. My 1911, a faithful companion of four decades, is in semi-retirement now because I can't put an optic on it, not because I can't put a flashlight on it.

Would a canted rifle not drive the bullet left or right depending on the cant at longer ranges? Greater distance to the target greater the drift due to cant. Applied ballistics had a right up on this, that I can't remember 100% but I believe that it said that would be the side effect.

If you're not from USA how are yiu supposed to look her up. Apparently you already looked at her media profile. Why didn't you include it or provide a link? You zoomed in with greater detail. Why didn't you include this when you edited the video? You mentioned that she was pro abortion and supported lgbtq rights. Do you think these are Christian values? Would a Christian wear a sideways "x" pendant that looked like they worshipped satan? I highly doubt it! Maybe call thing's out for what they are, rather than a wishy-washy nothing to see here!

@@beerhoff2 I think they’re a great company. I also think they do a lot of great things for the industry. I’ve got nothing negative to say about Vortex. I guess if anything their products just don’t wow me. I did have some issues with 2 their PST line of optics back around 2014. The customer service was great and they fixed both scopes. Maybe I’m just waiting for that product or product line they release that gets me really excited.

6 max is my ideal intermediate caliber cartage for the AR15 platform (that is a lot to say). I hope it gets the adoption I want it to get. In my opinion the only weakness of the 6max is that it is limited to 20 round magazines. There needs to be 30 and 40 round magazines before I think it can dethrone the 5.56x45

I'm sorry this entire video is a waste of time. MOA vs MIL is merely a matter of preference. It's like saying Celsius vs Fahrenheit which is better? If I build a house using only the metric system and you build the exact same house entirely in imperial, which house is better? If we get the same final result then it's whatever you prefer using. The only thing that sucks here is your argument. You want everyone to adapt to your preferred system. Kinda like how the whole just about 99% of the world is on the metric system except you folks in the states. It's inconvenient to you, that's all
@paramounttacticalКүн бұрын
@@tomspiridigliozzi239 cool. This video was designed and formatted for new shooters searching MIL vs MOA. So it’s intentionally surface level given the intended audience. It wasn’t formatted to argue with MOA users or convince anyone to switch. I can and do make those arguments in Part II & III. Mil is faster, easier, and more efficient and has multiple advantages over MOA which is why every mid to high level practical long range shooting sport (PRS, NRL, Sniper Comps) competitor without exception, uses mils. For most shooters they don’t shoot in a manner where they’d see any benefit. If you shoot at one target, at one range, with no time constraint on a manicured range paved with wind flags… basically remove any reality from shooting, it doesn’t matter which system you use. If you ever shoot a timed course of fire with multiple targets, you’ll easily see a huge difference in performance.

If the reticle is plum, is there still a problem? I mean, you use the base of the scope to get the optic plum to get the reticle plum.. so the whole point is to get the reticle plum.. so if the optic is canted but the reticle is plum, there’s no error, right?
