I am not able to deboss "Forte" font text onto a curved surface for an "a" that includes the "hole". Same for lower case "e". I get an error about split face and an "undefined error". A single svg closed element works fine. Any workarounds?

Excellent, very much appreciated! This is exactly what I needed. I can't wait to deboss flowers, rainbows and unicorns on my purse design.

Please, could you make a change in the video title to "cylindrical surface". This may save some time to others.

Awesome dude! Lack of 'wrap to surface' and 'emboss' was driving me crazy, but you saved the day for me :)

Completely freezes Fusion 360 for me. Never lets me perform the offset.

For those who are now seeing this video in the dialog with the filename is a list of attributes. You can flip the image on the horizontal or vertical plane there without these steps.

this is not correct! the more the text goes around the cylinder the skinnier the text will get because the text will project straight downwards!

Hi everyone, if you are an Autodesk Fusion 360 user, follow the link at the bottom and vote for the feature request "Emboss Feature": forums.autodesk.com/t5/ideastation-request-a-feature-or/emboss-feature/idi-p/5786374. Thank you all

Hmm … but the letters are cutting straight through. They are not rotated to the face normal. What is if I want to cut a text around a cylinder? The first letter is on 10 degree and the last letter is on 350 degree.

As far as I am aware it is not possible to do that in Fusion 360 at this stage. I am sure the ability to wrap an SVG file around a face and a debossing/embossing feature will be added to Fusion 360 sometime soon.

Hi Gerhard, if you are an Autodesk Fusion 360 user, you can follow the link at the bottom and vote for the feature request "Emboss Feature": forums.autodesk.com/t5/ideastation-request-a-feature-or/emboss-feature/idi-p/5786374. It would be great if you can make some advertising among your colleagues using Fusion 360, in order to get more votes from those users and to pass this from "Future Consideration" to "Accepted" and finally, "Implemented". Thank you

You can rotate the svg curves without converting all to DM feature, just select the curves in sketch mode unlock the constrains (fix/unfix - lock icon) then press "M" rotate it but what you still can not is to scale it but rest move/rotate you will be able to do.

Awesome, thank you! This will definitely open up the doors for my workflow. It's too bad you have to project the shapes one at a time even if they are in the same sketch. I was trying to do the same thing using Project to Surface and it never worked as it doesn't create a selectable area on the surface that it has projected to...there's nothing to manipulate. Could you possibly do a tutorial demonstrating the benefits of Project to Surface? ...I can't seem to find any use for it....thanks
