Youth, oh wasted youth. I'm stiff, white haired and standing alone. I can't stop thinking back to those times. Everything seemed fine and and to everything I was blind. Now nothing is fine and nothing is truly mine. Here's the king's horses and the king's men, they're so broken they can't be put back together again. All those king's horses and these king's men, oh we will never see them again. Sights and sounds come unbidden before my eyes, here I am wide-eyed and very much alive. Chained to my to own sorrows, yet this is my home even though I stand alone. I have to believe it's my home even if I'm alone. All my king's horses and all my king's men I couldn't put them back together again, oh those war horses and oh my poor men, so battle scarred can they ever be whole again? The only reason I'm still standing is to honor those who gave their all for my soft landing. So, I must stand fast to the last....for everyone who is no more. All the king's horses and the king's men, I hope they can be put back together again. All the king's horses and all the king's men, my hope is they won't be needed again.

Dearest Gamja, thank you for the heart as always you are too kind. My children and I truly enjoy and appreciate you and ONEWE's musical talents. However, I am embarrassed to say that my post doesn't belong here and has no context. I don't know how I did it, but this was to be linked on Forestella's version of -All The King's Horses which is part of my playlist along with ONEWE. Yet, Gamja, you showed me great compassion for my pain and loss as you comforted this old former soldier and mother with a heart. Merci, and I wish you and the rest of ONEWE the very best. Pat
