The idea is to explain that what she did was actually for the show, like I do in the full episode :) You shouldn't have blood on your face with this treatment, so it's important to educate them and be cautious. A lot of people come to my clinic with these wrong and dangerous ideas

If your skin truly was a sponge, that would be really bad news for what it's main purpose is. I get that the outermost layer does absorb stuff a little bit, but SPONGE? No, most of what you put on your skin, will stay on your skin. "Skin is sponge" def sounds like weird marketing lingo to make you think a product can do things that are physically impossible. There is no scientific data that suggest patting your skin helps stuff absorb better. Fly free little bird, apply it in the way that feels good.

The pressure might stimulate blood circulation, but in terms of cleaning, I don't see the connection :) But when we talk about other ingredients, good or bad there is evidence that these enter our bodies via the skin, especially when the barrier function has been compromised. So choose sulphate free cleansers as sulphates have been linked to health various health conditions

It's ok if that's what you want, just understand what botox is, its a bandaid not a solution. I'm 48 and like I said, i am not against it, I feel like there are better ways to treat your skin and spend your money, sending you love and light
