Thank you for your comment and positive criticism. This was recorded before I bought my camera gimbal for keeping the camera steady. I hope to be bring better content in the future! Safe travels!

Close-up at beginning was unnecessary. Could not understand anything narrator was saying. It was very distracting. I turned the sound off and that made the video much better. Camera panned side to side way too fast on several occasions.

Yup. It is true that Southwest is the only uses this concourse. Concourse C is home to Southwest Airlines. Southwest also uses B Gates.

Sun Country also uses gate D50. Also, United doesn't use gate D59, Advanced air uses gate D59.

Yeah I figured that there might be more airlines to the area but I believe it also depends on the time of day when they get used by other airlines. I was just reading what was on the signs as I walked through the airport terminal. Thanks for the comment and update. Safe travels!

So i will land here on the 9 th of August around 11p.m and i need to get to the paris Hilton hotel once i collect my luggage so from the baggage claim where would one expect to find the shuttle that will take me to the hotel thank you so much in advance

From baggage claim, go towards the front of the airport to curb side and there should be signs saying for shuttle pick up or hotel shuttles, if not that then call the hotel and see what they say to do or ask any of the airport or airline agents for more information. When I was there they were under construction and I only had a certain amount of time to get my video recording done. I do plan to fly through again, but it may be a while. Safe travels and sorry I couldn’t be more specific.

The answer to this question all depends upon how far away you live or are staying from the airport and if there might be any traffic on your drive, use your app to see what the eta is and plan accordingly to that. At the airport, it will be approximately the time of this video but I would give yourself a bit more time just to be on the safe side and then relax and enjoy! They used to say 3 hours before your flight departure and that I always what I try to do still, but to each their own. Have fun and stay safe!

That is just the seat that I was assigned for the flight, I personally don’t think it would matter to which side you get for a window seat for flying in here because it’s beautiful everywhere. Thanks for your comment!

Thank you for your moment and I do agree with you on these older videos that they were way too shaky. I do have the updated video of the new and improved terminal that has me using a gimbal to keep the camera more steady. Unfortunately the old terminal only has this bad version because after recording it they shut it down for remodeling. Thanks again and safe travels.

I’m watching this and thinking back to the early 60’s. Things were so different back then. The different arms of the terminal were kinda half in the ground and had no glazing just a roof over your head but open to the weather. The passengers actually walked out onto the aprons approaching the plane. A stairway was rolled out to each plane and passengers climbed the stairway to enter the plane. The Wichita airport was brand new at that time having moved away from the air force base on the SE side of town. It was pretty cool as they had an observation deck where you could go up about two story and watch everything going on from an open veranda of maybe 1600 sq ft. The Boeing 707 was just coming into common service. Still a lot of propeller aircraft operating at that time. In the mid 60’s the more regional air craft were the 727’s. A lot of Braniff and Continental served Wichita. Also TWA and United.

Your effort is really appreciated, but this video could have been really helpful with a steadier camera and showing clearly all the signs along the way. Going up/down stairs and getting on/off the underground is not very helpful without showing signs.

Was the X a light on the run way? If so that means it is not to use and probably having maintenance done to it. I hope that this helps answer your question.
