I often buy books, but I don't read them, so they just keep piling up. I don't know if this is a good thing or not. But eventually, the books will become a mountain, bigger than my house, and they will form a mountain range and destroy the land. It's a terrible thing, even for me. It conjures images of towering peaks made entirely of the covers of forgotten titles, their spines forming rugged ridges against the sky.
