Hmm, now this makes sense. My grandparents had a similar console of the same age and it was in a maple finish. They had a matching television with a power amplifier mounted underneath with two huge speakers and a horn tweeter. This must have been something only briefly made, because I never see them..

The needle set had the DIAMOND needle for Edison Duamon Disks, and the eqilly non standard ball (not needle/stylus shaped) used only by Pathe, while both diamond and sapphire material "needles" made today, they are standard shap for all records, but Edison and Pathe "needles" shaped to fit just the grooves of of their unstandard disks. SONORA and BRUNSWICK were about the only . Third Party machines . that could CORRRCTLY play these odd records WITHOUT HARM! There were some attach- ments that would sort of "play" Edison/Pathe on ordinary Victrolad, but sounung poorly and wearing them out.

This sounds Great....😮.... coming in on my Klipsch 100 core....it sounds like those counsel stereos....1960s sounds are great😊

WOW... that is awesome stereo...I did not know that you could get tubes and needles for them 😮 still...I keep seeing turntables in Walmart....I am always scared about getting anything like that...the needle is always I am worried about

KBSC TV 52 in Los Angeles California in the 1970s. .Dee Garleafa Show.. would come on with this song 😎...it was on KPOL FM 94 Los Angeles..and KBIG 104 Avalon all the time 😊

I.had this in the 1970s....they are great test records....I would want this on CD....try a London Phase 4 album...the sound of those are incredible 😊

U must have a special room for your stereo stuff....they must sound fantastic... also they all sound different and unique 😊... wish room to do this also...but I don't... everything for me has to be portable and small 😊...it is neat to see people like me that love sounds in music 🎵🎶😊....That is a great version of the Way you look tonight...I have it on my playlist 😊

I have 1960s and 1970s stuff in my front room....I have the Klipsch 1946 USA 1960s new Version with Bluetooth....in my front room...and 1970s Aiwa Boombox Stereo...it is neat to see with todays stuff... Space Age pad for sure 😊

Salve omnes. Le son est génial. Où peut-on retrouver de tels meuble tourne-disque en Europe et surtout des aiguilles,svp? En Grande-Bretagne, il y avait un fabricant d'aiguilles, je me souviens , ainsi qu'un studio d'enregistrement où l'on pouvait enregistrer des 78 tours...

This also was issued under the Climax label, the precursor to Columbia. See if there is a "343" etched under the label. If so, it's the same take. I have the Climax version.

looks like it was the last gasp of the cobra tone arms on what looks like a "magic mind"changer I have one in a portable called webcor I think or webster but have not looked at it yet as herd the "magic mind" unit are hard to restore yours works perfect .

I think I saw one of these in an episode of "The Man From U N C L E". I'm always curious about amplifier circuits. What kind of output tubes does this have? 6BQ5?, 6L6?. Looks like this has the dual dial tuner to allow for stereo simulcasts where they broadcast one channel on FM and the other on AM before the FM multiplex system became available. Zenith: The Quality Goes In Before The Name Goes On---and they really meant it when this was built. I did work for a Zenith dealer, but it was long after these were sold.
