i just rewatched this and i love how it ended so much, some spoilers obvi but therelationship between him and betty being extrapolated on showing they werent even "good" together was chefs kiss, at least thats how i took it, when Golbetty showed Simon how it couldve been vs how it was, that he was putting himself first that whole time without even realizing it, he obviously cared about her and vice versa but we only ever got to see from Simons POV and it heavily romanticized what wasnt the healthiest relationship, even with how she was willing to throw herself into the future and end up merging with a pure being of chaos to save him, was never fair to her, she was constantly only used to progress his story anyways rant over

For it accepting change would mean ceasing to be. Since there is no in between; ice elementals are very closeminded which reflects on their instinct of self-preservation.

You know these villains are really great and I definitely think a lot of these issues could fit as their own like game series like a doctor starline is just a menace but also we get to see Neo have their spotlight end the zombots sincere technically antagonists

I want Surge the tenrec to become a hero she deserves that role because she loves being it and starline took her life away so surge wanting to help others is so wholesome especially after everything she was meant to do.

So interesting this Chapter. A Howler backstory and an intense fight to boot! So we have full answer to why the police were incompetant when looking for Mauka. Now first with Howler, now that we know he has royal immunity theres two details I noticed. In the beginning of the Chapter, it mentioned when it said regardless of a crime, murder, substances, you cannot enter. Im curious if that's a hint that Mauka is actually dead. If so, I feel Charming Man will be the first to have Dark Determination before Jodio.

Hey i know this may never happen but just imange if we got a zombot idw villan. Ian said the metal virus was said and done but i can't just stop thinking of a active thinking zombot tourmenting our heroes. Making a singular powerful threat like that would really highlight the themes of past descions in this series and push our characters to the limit. Im talking like green goblin level.

I could go on a rant for hours about the IDW villains so I’ll keep it short: - Rough and Tumble may not be the most interesting or dangerous but they fulfill their role really well as goofy evil henchmen for the main villains, like Scratch abd Grounder or Sleet and Dingo. I like the issue where they make Cream cry and almost evoke Vanilla’s wrath for ruining their dinner and terrorizing her daughter. Thank the Chaotix they showed up when they did and ordered takeout. It’s also funny how Ian made them simply because SEGA wouldn’t allow him to use the Hooligans. And that Ken Penders threw a hissy fit trying to claim ownership of them because they’re skunks. - Starline is basically an Eggman super fan and I love the parasocial relationship he has with the better doctor. Plus his treatment of Surge and Kit is a darker inversion of how Eggman treats Metal Sonic and Sage. - How the fuck did they make a character like Mimic exist in a children’s comic? Bro straight up killed his old team and has a combat knife. I like him though, his shape shifting abilities make for some cool fake out moments when used properly. Perfect assassin for hire. - Clutch is a good villain in terms of his competence and worldbuilding, showing how before Eggman showed up there were many mob bosses that ruled the streets and how he’s kind of the last of a bygone era. Plus he’s the second IDW villain to make a big splash and a villain team up besides Starline. - They actually made the Zeti decent threats and made Zavok good. ZAVOK, bargain bin Bowser. HOW. - Surge and Kit are decent doppelgängers and I think the first instance of a canon evil Tails besides Tails Doll. I love them individually but they’re definitely a package deal. Their dynamic is great and a dark mirror to Sonic and Tails’ relationship. And I’m glad they didn’t stick with the boring route of showing how good Sonic and Tails’ brotherhood is by just making Surge abuse Kit, I mean she does kinda start that way but the difference is that Surge gets character development where she learns the power of teamwork and Kit develops by genuinely caring about Surge because he wants to, not just because he has to. In addition to this I’ll briefly go over how they mirror Sonic and Tails’ relationship. Sonic and Tails prop up each other but can stick out on their own, Tails has proven in the classic era and Adventure titles that he doesn’t need to rely on Sonic for everything and can actually get the blue blur to slowdown and think for a change. Similarly Sonic supports and builds up Tails’ confidence in himself. Surge and Kit on the other hand are co-dependent on each other to an unhealthy extent. Kit literally can’t function as his own person without her. And Surge’s mental state is so broken that she needs a support system to not just go berserk after one too many breakdowns. In addition they’re not the best at propping up the best aspects of themselves and sometimes it’s the opposite. They do care about each other genuinely though, it’s just a twisted and fucked up version of Sonic and Tails’ friendship.

Shanks mentioned when he was in Wano that they have to deal with someone that was burining their flag and as we know its Barto. Barto taking accountability for his actions and his undying will to Luffy and to see him become pirate king. Barto drinking the bottle of “poison” was one of the best Barto moment. Yasopp was like you let the get off to easily and went bang. Bb pirates are the most piratey pirate crew in the series and its always interested to see them. You gotta guard Garp, hes GARP! even if hes imjured. Bb wondering what his plan with Laffitte. Laffitte migt be trying to get into Mariejoa and hes hindered by what the Revs did. Imagine Laffitte walking in on the gorosei similar to the warlords meeting but he would find out about a new gorosei member, this info would be inteesting to see what Bb does. A good old fashion mystery to start Elbaf. If the sunny was eaten by a fish would it reach to Elbaf faster than the Great Eirik? If its a haucination then what happened to the sunny? Interesting how the straw hats were spilt between the younger members and older ones. Some one might be trying to marry Nami again. The lego house might be like a doll house or something for one of the giants like maybe Loki. There could be a magical element at play.

Honestly Archie had way more villains like this.

Even though Zavok is from the games, I consider him to be an honorary IDW villain.

how do you make Zavok a good character? simple get good writers cause in the games, he had potential, but the writers clearly didn't care enough

IDW Zavok makes me think of Batman's Bane in a way. When written right, he's insanely strong, but twice as cunning. The Bad Guys miniseries really showed that.

Ngl i also like and agree with when u said something about her trying to regain shanks attention,when you really think about it,i cant really remember rhe whole movie or what happened but i think its neat to imagine that since Shank's focus is sort of entirely on Luffy and shanks is her dad so shes trying to get him to pay attention to her too,it's like a middle child/older sibling and younger sibling when it comes to getting attention

This was really entertaining to watch! I really like her character,im not the best at explaining but this movie was really nice and colorful,it was a decent change from all the past movies that had male villains,shes a well written character i believe that a lot of people could like but also some could hate,but most the people who hate her dont really look into her character or try to see why she is the way she is. Uta is an amazing blend of powerful and intriguing to me though,i cant find all the words right now but i think I'd like to find more characters like her,they dont have to have music abilities or anything but characters similar,if there are it'd be nice to know who

The characters get flashed out. its not just beat and repeat... you see fail and fumble...i mean Rough and Tumble evolve and have ambitions... starline even went to out of their way to analize eggman and see the flaws he has. and mimic and his personal vendetta. they are all beyond evil for the sake of being evil. look at surge and kit. they went from tools to be anti sonic and tails to genuinely wanting to find their own place, and i do hope they find a way to get rid of the bad influence clutch has and genuine get good. these 2 need a whole hearth to hearth with Shadow and omega about finding purpose for themself. Kit especialy needs some serious spine growing, drippy is a good tactitian and genuinely frightning to fight

I love AT so much and I remember I wasn't into the idea of Fionna and Cake show until I watched it and how relevant it is for the whole plot

I wasn't really considering reading them until a few months ago when I found out they've actually started publishing the paperbacks officially in Italy. I got the Tails Skypatrol special and the first volume, and they're planning to translate all of them. The only problem is, the release schedule is horrible. The first volume came out in April, and the second one comes out in NOVEMBER. And on an unrelated note the first volume alone managed to completely change my opinion on Sonamy for some reason. It's still not my favorite ship, but it can work pretty well if handled with care

I'm on ep 600 I gotta catch up fast or ill get spoiled 😭
