After watching this I think you could catch up. Given the title of the video (I know your saying Leyah) I actually think you're the one that has made the most progress. Yeah Leyah landed 6 in a row which is amazing but she was already landing them pretty good before. As for you on all the other days it took you many attempts to just commit, where as in this video you started committing right way. Which I feel is much more progress. So can you catch Leyah? Hell yeah you can!!! Now go get it tiger 🐅🛹

@ I think that’s the hardest part. Practice doing little nollies up the bank. You don’t have to pop, but just get your front wheels to float a little bit. That will give you the feel for the nose mani exit.

Leyah will have this on lock if she keeps at it for a few more sessions. As for you Magnus I think you need the try the bs flip up the gap. You're half way there when doing the kickflip.

Yeah, it was really cool that she kept going! I was super stoked to land that sketchy kickflip, but it only took a couple of hours for the self critisism to kick in.😅 I definitely need to clean up that kickflip asap! Thanks man! 😊

Thanks man! 😊 I can definitely see the bs flip over the gap in the future, but I am gonna wait until I get the regular kickflip more solid. When I land the bs flip (if ever), I want do do it because I intentionally rotate the board bs, not because it turns bs involuntary lol. But it's probably very far into the future, I have actually never dared to try a regular bs180 over the gap. The thought of a hangup when turning bs feels soo scary! 😅

Heck yeah!!! When you mentioned Leyah landed one, but you couldn’t even commit, I realized a very distinct difference in the pop. Leyah had a clear, consistent, “click and flick” sound, and yours was a dull, not-quite thud/pop? Anyhow, always really glad to see updates from you both. I cannot thank you both enough. These are an awesome mental break. All the best in the new year!!!

Thanks for the kind words and feedback! 😊 The difference in pop between me and Leyah was huge. I struggled with the pop and I think the reason for that was that I was so focused on the flip - which also was a real struggle! 😅 When I started to get the flip, the pop also started to get s-l-i-g-h-t-l-y better, but it definitely still needs a ton of work. I can't wait to get back to the trick! All the best to you as well!

Thanks! 🙏 No it's the skate club's shirts. Both me and Leyah are working as skate coaches for beginners every Saturday. After our shift, we usually skate a session so this video was filmed earlier today. 😊

Thanks! The trick is really weird for me. I often get close to landing it, but my balance/stance is a bit off so I can't remain on the board. I think I need to turn my shoulders more, but the trick is soo damn uncomfortable right now. With more practice I think it can become a super easy trick though, so I am definitely going to put some time into it. Go ahead and try it, I would love to see the process!

Yeah, I tried to avoid getting to many park clips but in the end I had to film some tricks at Hipsquare since I wanted clips that I hadn't used before. It's too could to skate outside right now. ❄️😁 Thanks man! 🙏🏽😊

Yeah, I was happy with that line. Now I just need to clean it up. 😊 StuffnThings are putting together av community video, with skaters over the age of 40. I didn't really have the time to film much, but I tried. In the end I did send in a mix of clips from the summer and some more recent ones from this autumn.
