Cider is alcoholic, wich means you have to ferment it for about 3 weeks, before you can call it "Cider", this, is simply apple juice.
@seasonserveblog7 күн бұрын
There are two different types of cider. Fresh apple cider (like what I made here) does not contain alcohol. Hard apple cider is fermented and develops alcohol as it sits.

@@seasonserveblog well here in the UK, cider is always alcoholic & apple juice is apple juice 😂

Thanks for the installation video. I bought the same kit from Lee Valley and found that the compression ends are hard to insert the drip / head hose into. I tried soaking the hose into warm water or cutting the hose end at an angle per Lee Valley's suggestion and is still difficult to insert the hose to the compression ends. Do you have this problem? How did you insert the hose into the ends? I enjoyed your garden videos.
@seasonserveblog2 ай бұрын
Hi Diana! Thank you for watching! We struggled with this too and found that soaking the hose in water that was just boiled helped a lot. It really softened the hose and made it easier to install! The hoses are strong so they can take a bit of heat to soften up! Wigging it back and forth also helped! Good luck!

Could these Vol au Vent be made ahead, reheated and served warm?
@seasonserveblog4 ай бұрын
I would suggest making the mushroom filling ahead. Filling the vol au vent pastry then reheating may make them soggy. Enjoy!!

We add LKK chicken powder to the water we add to the beef, we add a pinch or two of MSG to the soy/osyter/wine mix if we can not get tangerine peel we will add a food safe tangerine essence to the wet mix, this is a case of less is more as tangerine essence can be very overpowering.
@seasonserveblog4 ай бұрын

I don't know where y'all live but I gasped when you said it was 20° and sunny. I'm watching y'all dressed in summer clothes, thinking it's like 70°. Lol 😆 I live in SC and so I'm not going outside without a toboggan, boots, and a winter coat until it reaches 60°. 😂 Also, I love your backyard garden renovations. It's beautiful. New subscriber here. I look forward to watching more.
