You use an iron on the stove top and you make them one at a time. If you didn't get your iron from Cleveland, it's not a real iron. A pizzelle maker is never electric.

6 eggs, 7 cups of flower, 1 cup shortening, 2 cups of sugar, 2 tablespoons butter, a boat ton of lemon extract. Whip eggs and sugar together. Add shortening, butter, and flavoring. Add flower. Done

Can you use Pyrex or glass bakeware in this oven?
@SimpleItalianCookingАй бұрын
As long as it's oven safe then yes - check on the actual glassware since they could be different from piece to piece. I tend to use stainless steel pans mostly or ceramic in general.

a couple of questions. what is the depth minus the handle and does the LED display always stay on when not in use... thankyou
@SimpleItalianCooking2 ай бұрын
Hi Dave, I just measured mine and if you consider the little black rubber stopper that sits on the back side facing the wall it's about 15 inches. Not counting the stopper, it was just shy of 14 inches from back left corner to front left corner. And the LED light does not always stay on.

How many cups butter to olive oil?
@SimpleItalianCooking2 ай бұрын
Usually I eye ball it with a 50/50 split. I would recommend doing it to taste. If your olive oil is strong tasting maybe use a little less and more butter. Hope that helps!

You did a great job covering everything. I am debating which model to buy. I am very interested in the dehydrator function, wish you had utilized that service. Where did you find this oven for $300? At my Best Buy they are $399. Thank you 😊 Judy
@SimpleItalianCooking2 ай бұрын
Hi Judy, from what I see online the price has gone up since I made the video. Sometimes Amazon has sales though. I still haven't used the dehydrator mode since I am using it so much for other things throughout the day, it makes it difficult . So I use a separate dehydrator. Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

I've never 'broiled' before and that's very interesting to me because I've never had eggplants in a recipe turn out the way I wanted, except in a vegetable curry (where you can't really go wrong). They always turn out too oily for me, as I coat them in oil before putting them into the oven and, of course, they absorb the whole lot. Broiling is a great alternative & a quick prep, prior to baking. You might have given it, but I didn't hear you say what temperature to set the oven to, to broil the eggplants? ☺
@SimpleItalianCooking3 ай бұрын
Hi! You don't need to set the oven to a specific temperature for broiling, just select the "broil" setting on your oven.😀

@@SimpleItalianCooking There isn't one on our oven. However, I put it on 250 degrees (Celsius) for five minutes or so, each side & then baked them with the lasagna and they tasted great! Thanks for the tip. (Also, avoided that irritating, chewy skin by peeling them first.)

You'd get the same results putting your bread crumbs in a paper or plastic bag and shaking the chicken up inside then you just throw away the bag so no heavy duty clean up. I actually like the paper bag more because it doesn't cling to the chicken and it just seems easier but a ziplock bag works fine just make sure to trap as much air inside it as you can before you seal it shut. I've also reused bread bags that were washed and dried. Growing up poor we washed out bags and reused them many times.
@SimpleItalianCooking3 ай бұрын
Very true, we reused bags all the time growing up (and still often do) too! I think this breader is good for larger amounts of chicken But it really was easier than using a bag for me. But a ziplock bag DOES work well too - especially if it's just a few pieces. 🙂
@lennybuttz21623 ай бұрын
@@SimpleItalianCooking I like the concept of the breader but I don't like the cleanup. If you don't have a dishwasher there's too many spaces to worry about. I can see the benefit of it but it's not for me.
