Yes, I put 1,800 miles on the Mav R without a winch! And don't think I ever got pulled out. But snow in here now, and like you said, it is a must! Thanks for watching!

Yeah I'm not 100% sure on all of his mods, but he had a ton! The axle he broke was under warranty.... machine works good, just a little tippy when they get that tall!

I do run the soft compound. I really like the traction and durability, have had better on road riding tires. Every other set wobbles a bit at speed, lol.

@JayMartinez-d6f maxxis carnivore is hard to beat for all around. I like the Roxzilla for summer and warriors for winter. ITP Blackwater Evolution is really good all around and super tough.

Cool video, have been watching your content from Montana. I have the same Mav-R loaded up like yours. Mine has a ratching/rattle noise at low speeds, noticed yours doing it as well, is that something you have analyzed? Seems to be a norm for the Mav-R perhaps?

did you not have to install the radius arm drop bracket that allows for the radius arms to be lowered? I am installing a kit now and very curios.

I don't think so, I believe this kit had the shim for the upper ball joint. There are 3 ways to correct the caster after raising the front. 1. Ball Joint shim (not best option) 2. Radius drop/relocate bracket 3. New radius arms (best option usually) Good luck, you will love your truck!

Front was good, rear felt wrong to me. There is a shock bracket available for this conversion and i think that would fix it. I tried swapping springs to shock therapy in the rear, little better but I think the assembly was a little short and took away some of the up travel. Making small bumps rougher.

What a Friday the 13th , 1 broken axle , then the front end & dash went out, ended up being just a blown fuse. Kind of figured it was something like that, but hanging on the side of the mountain like that, it wasn’t in are play book.lol. Them road armor tires are junk, should have had the warriors on , then I’d have not broken an axle right of the bat. Much rather go up a hill , than getting towed backwards down. 😅
