Is it safe to eat buckwheat everyday?
@CreativeConsciousLiving7 күн бұрын
This is something your own body can show you. We all have different responses to foods, and certain folks do better with a consistent diet of mostly the same foods everyday, where others like me need to rotate foods to prevent developing sensitivities. I would encourage you to work with your health care provider and listen to your own body to know how much buckwheat it needs.

Best video I've ever seen on this humble food 💟. Another wonderful buckwheat fact is chickens love it. So if you sow buckwheat to improve your soil, let your chickens into the buckwheat beds after you harvest your seeds. They will eat the plants, the seed heads you missed, dig up the soil and manure it too. Dig it all back in, let it fallow for a month then plant with your next veggie crop. Buckwheat cutlets made with home grown buckwheat & eggs ; healthy, delicious and affordable too😃

Thank you very much for your video. It was very nice. I usually start my morning with two or three big buckwheat pancakes and after I eat them, I don’t even need to eat lunch all day until later at night. Sometimes I eat buckwheat cereal, Pocono, which is organic and the same thing don’t need to eat lunch you’re right it’s really good for you. Been eating it for a long time now.

Which buckwheat are you using for food and soaking in water before you cook. is it the green buckwheat or the brown?
@CreativeConsciousLiving2 ай бұрын
Brown buckwheat has already been cooked and will not sprout. If you want to sprout your buckwheat, it needs to be raw or green.

I used to eat buckwheat as a child in the eighties and even to this day, my mother made buckwheat with fried onions, it's simply delicious!!! But not everyone likes the taste and smell of it, some people say it smells like wet dog fur😬

This is an original arrangement of a song called 14 Days by Science for Girls. It's such a beautiful song, and I loved it the first time I heard it. So, I re-spun the lyrics for a different meaning and feel.

That has not been the case for me, but it does depend on how long you let the sprouts go and what microbial life is living in your home at the time. You could sprout them and then freeze for later use if that's more convenient.

Buckwheat is toxic! Lectins! Prepare lectins correctly (like legumes and buckwheat) in a pressure cooker. Otherwise you are causing inflammation, and leaky gut. Research Dr. Gundry, and your digestion will thrive.

6:16 Magnesium is an element. No new magnesium could appear by sprouting. Do you mean that the molecular compsition of the magnesium changes and becomes more absorbable?
@CreativeConsciousLiving5 ай бұрын
Hi! In studies, it has been found that protein content can increase during the sprouting process due to amino acids being liberated by the germination process. Enzymatic content/activity also spikes once the seed is germinating. In contrast, starch levels in the seed can actually go down as the germination process goes along. And, as you suggested, the nutrient yield of sprouts is higher compared to that of non-germinated seed because 1. the nutrients are more bio-available, and 2. the anti-nutrients have been neutralized. If you are interested, you can read a little more here: www.mdpi.com/2304-8158/12/21/3901

I have purchased both dark colored seed and beige seed. I always purchase raw so I can choose to sprout it or grow it as a crop. I like Anthony's Goods and also Food to Live. I have also purchased seeds for growing from Terroir Seeds and they had a great germination rate.
