By the way, PS five has an VR that is wired so it doesn’t lose any battery and you can switch between playing on your VR to playing on your PS five but you gotta link your PS5 like your normal controller

interface/dashboard is a bit confusing. Controller features and build is excellent, though I still prefer the xbox controller. games are awesome. I like Platinum trophies more than achievements. easier to track and look at what games are 100%. Battery life is a joke. lasts 1-2 days before it needs to be recharged. I love that Xbox uses AA because I have rechargeable batteries waiting to go and it takes 25 seconds to swap them out, then boom, a full charge for weeks. FPS games seem harder on ps5 (Apex and Fortnite) though I imagine that's because I'm not used to the controller. over all great! love it.

So I just bought an xbox one x no data on the HDD. I wanna swap it with an SSD completely blank no data. Do I still need the hard drive cloner even though it doesnt have any data nor do I want to transfer any data?

That's for sure and easy way to do it, though you could also get another usb flash drive and boot from that as a fresh instal after ssd is in.

no, but I only had access to 1 TB instead of 2. Cloner will clone everything, including the size, even if the new drive is bigger.

You have to be rich or dumb to still buy this brand. My last iTrash was the 4G. TODAY i still use my love and original one plus one from 2014. LineageOS on top and still rocks. For computer i dont edit video or play on it. So my iMac 27 late 2012 still rocks. I've been thinking about using both beyond 2025. On the mobile phone I have Android 13 which will be usable for another 4 years and on the iMac if I install Linux in the next few years it will allow me to use a computer perfectly for 20 years. To do the same with today's technology? Now that's being in touch with nature. Using fewer resources. And not eating avocados....

I went for the battery upgrade with the idea I would use my 12 for a few more years.... and actually I still can, but I hate the the Face ID is messed up. it's silly Apple can't properly seal their products after an official battery swap.... oh well.

My Xbox one s hard drive has broke recently. And I was wondering can I replace with an ssd and it work without any cloners or computers just replace an go. I have seen hard drives with software installed on a usb that would give my Xbox life again. Was just wondering if I would upgrade to a ssd in a similarly easy manner. Thanks for any help

Im needing some more information about what you did for cloneing and expanding the drive. Also what software you used ect. Im attempting a 2tb swap in my one x and have had continued failures.

you would clone the drive I you intend on keeping the storage the same size. if you're gonna do it bigger, then you'll have to flash the drive and install a boot up on a USB drive and do an offline restore from the usb. there are tons of step-by-step videos on KZbin and lots of tutorials on the internet that I found useful.

the last videos talking about the SSD upgrade showed that there was barely no difference between external SSD and internal SSD so I wonder what happened but this is all good news

My last video? or this video? There are definitly some exceptions, but generally boot up is twice and fast and loading games is 3x faster. not nearly as fast as the velocity drive on the series X and S, but still much faster than the stock HDDs.

@ Samsung is always a solid choice. I just go off of Amazon reviews. What drives have the most reviews? Id prefer to go with a 4 1/2 star rated hard drive with 10,000 reviews over a five star rated hard drive with 50 reviews.
