You have to be rich or dumb to still buy this brand. My last iTrash was the 4G. TODAY i still use my love and original one plus one from 2014. LineageOS on top and still rocks. For computer i dont edit video or play on it. So my iMac 27 late 2012 still rocks. I've been thinking about using both beyond 2025. On the mobile phone I have Android 13 which will be usable for another 4 years and on the iMac if I install Linux in the next few years it will allow me to use a computer perfectly for 20 years. To do the same with today's technology? Now that's being in touch with nature. Using fewer resources. And not eating avocados....

How did you get your phone wet twice? I would say that user error. I’ve had my iPhone since God knows when and it’s never gotten wet even once.

wet twice? what do you mean? it got splashed by the dog after the repair and that caused Face ID and the cameras to go crazy. I didn't get it wet twice....? unless you are talking about the times before the battery replacement?

My Xbox one s hard drive has broke recently. And I was wondering can I replace with an ssd and it work without any cloners or computers just replace an go. I have seen hard drives with software installed on a usb that would give my Xbox life again. Was just wondering if I would upgrade to a ssd in a similarly easy manner. Thanks for any help

would would need to make an offline installer and put it on a flash drive. should be able to boot up and install o ff of that

Im needing some more information about what you did for cloneing and expanding the drive. Also what software you used ect. Im attempting a 2tb swap in my one x and have had continued failures.

you would clone the drive I you intend on keeping the storage the same size. if you're gonna do it bigger, then you'll have to flash the drive and install a boot up on a USB drive and do an offline restore from the usb. there are tons of step-by-step videos on KZbin and lots of tutorials on the internet that I found useful.

Did you notice the initial slowdown or slow responsive in menu's was reduced? That's what drives me the most nuts, I want my OS snappy always

Le démarrage est devenu 2 fois plus rapide, le chargement des jeux Xbox One est environ 4 fois plus rapide.

the last videos talking about the SSD upgrade showed that there was barely no difference between external SSD and internal SSD so I wonder what happened but this is all good news

My last video? or this video? There are definitly some exceptions, but generally boot up is twice and fast and loading games is 3x faster. not nearly as fast as the velocity drive on the series X and S, but still much faster than the stock HDDs.

Curious why you aren't upgrading to Series X? I'm also still using One X, I went with a 2TB external SSD though. Mainly like to use it for back-compat 360 and a handful of other more modern games. Things are starting to change though, it seems like increasingly even when it seem neccesary devs are just not releasing XB1 versions like the upcoming Sand Land & Visions of Mana which are on PS4, PS5, and XB Series. They're also on PC though so I might as well just get them there.

an $80 ssd upgrade is cheaper than a $500 new Series.... and as of February 2024, there's only something like 25-30 games exclusive to next gen, so it's not quite worth it for me yet.

Xbox One X was released in 2017, it's Xbox Series X was released in 2020 and it does come with M.2 SSD

@@lateron2041 Yea the naming conventions was like Wii U levels of bad. I have an Xbox One S, I put a SSD in it, it was better but not so much better that I kept it in place.

Never heard of this game, but the art style looks amazing and I'm a sucker for a good soundtrack. Is the story dialogue heavy or is it more limbo style i.e. show vs tell? Great vid!

story is limbo style. nothing to read. Lana says a few things to the cat here and there but it's an unknown language. instead of finding secrets eggs, there are 10 secrets shrines. I had to look some of them up because they are well hidden.

Love the old Apple displays.. i just purchased the 22inch model from ebay for $79, i will be using it with my PowerMac G4 MDD. I am tempted to keep spending money and buy the 23inch and the 20inch and complete my collection of Apple acrylic displays. Oh and i already have the 17inch that came with my PowerMac G4 Cube.

Finally nice to find someone who is into retro Apple tech like I am. I liked and subscribed. I am hoping you can help me solve my major issue. I have a Silicon M1 Mac Mini and it works fine. I also have a 2008 Imac and a 21 and 27 inch Imac which will get repaired next year. But I like older Mac games and several weeks ago I got a 2006 Mac Mini and was happily playing Diablo 2 on it but could not seem to add LOD on it but my 17 inch Cinema Display just died the next time I turned on my Mac Mink. I need another Cinema Display. So I need to know what adapter I can use with my Mac Mini and what monitor will work on it. I have seen information that a 20 inch and a 22 will work on it but a 23 and 24 may not and definitely not a 30 inch. Sitting in my bedroom is a broken screen Thunderbolt Display and I am hoping to get it restored and use it with one of my older Imacs. I found it sitting on the sidewalk when I was coming home one day and brought it up here. Thanks for posting the video.
