I have also worked out how to put it in test mode turn it off at the plug press and hold start and time delay simultaneously worst turning the machine back on at the wall goes straight into test mode

This helped me. Opened up the back, a mouse had chewed up the styrofoam float and the switch was stuck on. Vacumed the styrofoam, pushed the switch down and voila. Machine works. 😂

Four years on and still very useful! My old Clarke Rebel compressor had stood for many years unused and wouldn't start. I was about to start taking it apart to test all sorts of electrical connections, then found this! Mine has a similar trip switch in the same position (well hidden!) and after I pressed/reset it, the compressor started right up. so thanks very much! 😃👍

Hello there, I have just started the search for information to fix my air compressor Makita AC1300. Your film is the first one that I have come across. Can you help please. The problem I have with my compressor is that it will not restart after it has run low of air. It will start from the beginning with no air in the tank and build up to the required pressure. But once the air as depleted down to a lower level it struggles to restart. It just turns over slowly and does not restart. If the air is completely emptied from the air tank it will then restart. I have had the compressor for some years.!I bought it off eBay and it was only a matter of months old. It was stated that it was an ex display model ??? It may be better if I take a film of what I'm saying is going on with the machine. If I upload it onto KZbin I can then let you know the link. Might be can be for other people to repair their machine with the same problem. Do you think it might be some pressure valve or sensor. Thank you for any help. Kind regards, Daniel King.

Thanks dude! Good video though I would recommend taking the other side of the ball off so you can do those fiddly screws, I lost the washer inside the machine, managed to get it back out with allot of shaking though

Thanks, I wondered why the band saw I got secondhand made a weird whine when i plugged it in, thought i'd have to buy a new NVR - turned out the in/out neutral wires were round the wrong way. You just saved me some money on a new one. Scary thing is, i got it from a business and it had been PAT tested

Thanks for this. Easier to follow than some others as can clearly see what you are doing at each step. I did however take both sides of the ball off which made accessing the screws on the non filter side much easier. Once again thanks.

I called the Dyson service phone number today and was told that this part is not available for purchase by an owner of a Dyson vacuum. It can only be repaired at a Dyson Service Center.

Thanks Foxtons. No water in base ... but mice had nibbled the polystyrene float and small pellets had got under the block, lifting it, to prevent the pump stopping.

All well and good, but you didn't mention what chain to purchase if you're changing one out. I have a different model than yours. I threw the original chain away--very dumb--and replaced it with an S52 which doesn't fit well around the knob and the chain fits very loosely. I'm constantly having to put the chain back on. The online owner's manual says to use a "91PJ052X" replacement chain, but if you walk into a big box store the chains are identified by length and these codes: S50, T50, R50, S52 and so on and so forth. Can you tell me what chain is on your model. There is one section of tooth on the chain that will have the part number. Thank you.

That one screw on the back side that holds the bracket together was a pain to put back in. Other than that it was easy. Some engineer needs to be taken behind the woodshed. Put all the screws on one side Great video. That you!
