Danzig II is a better album than anything Rob could ever hope to make. The thing about Glenn is he was actually an intelligent songwriter. The lyrics of things like Snakes of Christ and 777 tell great stories that really pull you in. Zombie just writes edgelord lyrics.

Before this ad, my knowledge of anime was limited to the stuff on Nick jr in the late 80s end early 90s, and whatever else was on daytime TV, including sailor Moon. I think this ad was the first time I saw a name and country of origin attached to that particular style. I bought an animerica magazine shortly after and convinced my mom to let me watch it, arguing that it's as broad and diverse as any other medium. But this ad was pretty revolutionary
