Wonderful video ! I love the "Magic" you applied to bring her back again. Am going to use this to restore a sad Scorpion I found on MarketPlace. Thanks so much ! "Lets Ride !"

My Mom and Dad bought me a 1975 Scorpion Brut 340 for my 11th birthday in 1979 in North Dakota. Bank repo. 400 dollars. 500 miles. We had to sell it when we moved to South Carolina in 1980. I've had a Corvette, open class motocross bikes, a Mach Z 800 and a Polaris Storm, and 11 Harleys but that sled was my favorite thing I ever had.

I shure am proud of you taking the time to put this out!!! For years I've been trying to explain to people That can't believe that there was a time when there weren't no electrictricity out where we are!! I have a model 72 Maytag engine and a 1918 Delco generator fully functional among others that require explanation!! Because folks just don't know what they're looking at history!! As they gaze in amazement! Thank YOU for helping keep it alive!! GOD BLESS.

Which clothes are the clean ones? Why, they're the ones that smell like 2 stroke exhaust!

JasonGreek ~ I am quite surprised that Maytag would make such a noisy, stinky hit-n-miss 2-stroke.

@togue7773 жыл бұрын
I was travelling south on Rte. 3 between NH and MASS back in 91 and a guy and his wife passed me with a Stinger and a Stingerette back loaded in their pickup truck and suddenly the wind caught the cowling of the Stingerette and launched it a good 20 feet up in the air before it came crashing back down to the pavement and disintegrating. I genuinely felt bad for them thinking that it would be a tough item to replace.

must admit, i was tapping my foot most of the way through............then i realized that it was starting to rot my brain. Most of these models i can name from a distance, even not having seen them for years............that was probably a good marketing campaign on Scorpion's part.

Seems like one of the off year or part year 73's. There is some gear that says its a 72 and other stuff that was 73 for Scorpions production runs. Ive been told Scorpion always used up any old parts before starting with the new productions.

My brother had a 73 440 back in the day. At the time I was told it was the fastest production sled that year.Dont know if that was true but when he took me for a ride it sure seemed like it.Rest in peace Chris,even though your life was cut short you sure enjoyed it and made sure i had a good slice of it too! See you on the other side brother, and we will go sleddin !
