I was at the game and as a Hebburn fan I will admit Matlock deserved to win. You had the better chances and were the better team. We were poor and created very little. I will say though that the ref had an absolute shocker. You got away with at least three terrible calls from the ref in the second half. Not saying it would have changed the outcome of the game, but how you lot came away without a booking or two is beyond me and the ref couldn't wait to stop the game to give decisions against us.

Hi, hope you're well! The Whitby bench reacted like that because they had prime viewing to a cowardly & malicious elbow. However, they also had prime viewing of Hebburn absolutely combusting. So it all worked out I suppose.

Hi hope you are well too. Sorry but that is complete nonsense. Paul Van was nowhere near your player when he went for the ball and had his eyes on the ball the whole time. Your player jumps into him as he's going for the ball. Watch it in slow motion. Also the ref missed a foul on our player in the build up too at 1:57

@simonpaterson84 Agree with the missed foul prior, that probably provoked the whole thing. But I couldn't have been stood closer, either, and you could see the intent. The exact same thing as the six older Hebburn supporters saw, because they had an equally good view. If your own supporters are saying it's a red, it's probably a red. At the same time, if our player committed it, I certainly wouldn't be defending them
