Boring staller. To be fair tho his most entertaining fight was against Edwards. Still garbage. The ufc shouldn’t be giving guys like him title fights. He’s not a fighter in the true sense of the word.

Bullshit. You are not talking about some anime. Its real life. He is in it for money and he has all the right to strategize his fights the way he wants as long as he abides by the rulebook regardless if others enjoy or not since making money is the primary purpose of all the sportsmen.

Style wise he's my least favourite champ, but you can't discredit what he's doing whatsoever - anyone who steps foot it in there is a fighter in every sense of the word, whether you're a striker or not you still get hurt, and you still hurt others. Wrestling someone into oblivion isn't just simply holding a person down until you get a W, you're taking that person into deep waters and exhausting the life out of them. Just because they leave with no visible abrasions to their face/body it doesn't mean they haven't gone through hell. In elite level MMA these days you have to adapt to these things or someone like Belal will come thru and expose you That being said this isn't WWE and the UFC should absolutely be giving title fights to ANYONE on an undefeated 10 fight streak lol

Actually, Pegasus and L Drago kinda work the same. Ginga and ryuga were always meant be stronger then everyone else because their beys contained a bigger part of the old star fragment from metal fusion. But we do see ginga get beaten by other bladers which I think is for plot. Like if ginga vs X blader, where all the factors are the same like training, experience etc, expect for the beys, then ginga would 100% win because of Pegasus
@BeastXIS
@BeastXIS Ай бұрын
It is why Ryuga was wiping the floor with the other bladers all the time almost. He only lost once to Pegasus in Fusion (which contains the same amount of Star Fragment as L-Drago does) & Nemesis (which had absorbed the star fragments of all Legendary Bladers) Ryuga mastered his bey too. So he was the pinnacle of what a human being could achieve on his own. Gingka on the other hand barely trains in comparison and struggles multiple times to unleash Pegasus' full power (He literally had to be told by Ryuga twice in Metal Masters & Metal Fury that he hadn't mastered his bey's power yet at those times)

Well, the only thing I didn't like was that almost all the other once top tier bladders were all of the sudden made into a "random side character" in terms of strength, for example Yu , Tsubasa and Masamune. The only ones who were kinda kept the same were Kenta and Benkei even though Kenta just started to massively improve since traveling with Ryuga and benkei started falling off since metal masters

exactly. Same with Niles. He was so strong and such a good character so it sucks that they left him as a side character that didn’t even battle in the final fight when id argue he was stronger than tsubasa and yu

Fellow MMA and Beyblade Metal Fight enjoyer? Shake my hand, scholar. Also the Legendary bladers is a byproduct of Nemesis' revival. The star fragment essentially chooses 9 special bladers (the 10th going to Nemesis) to essentially decide the future of the world. Do they allow for Nemesis' revival or do they choose to stand against it. It’s definitely a plot device-mcguffin of sorts but I think it serves the purpose well. The ending of Fury is peak. Nemesis was the perfect adversity for the themes of the show thus far. While the legendary blader status did eliminate a lot of long standing characters from having any sort of relevancy as an individual, the final arc did sort of unite everyone's powers against Nemesis (ala Malevolent God vs Indomitable human spirit). And you have characters like Kenta who didn’t even have a star fragment but worked his way up to being top 5 strongest characters in the series.

Tbh the Legendary blader concept was perfect to me. I’ll explain the Pros and Cons about Metal Fury The Pros about Metal Fury is that they wanted to show us that there are well under 0.1% of people around the world that are just unbelievable strong and just makes anyone in Metal fusion and masters look like children compared to Legendary Bladers. The main group having to travel around the world to find them and be surprised how much power they had was amazing to see especially with Aguma, and them having amazing mode changes that we haven’t seen when fury came out. Fury introducing Legendary Bladers as the most powerful and introducing new characters and them not loosing when they first appear was definitely the right move even if it meant risking characters we love getting put on the bench Now for the Cons, First up is Yuki since he was a MAJOR disappointment and did nothing besides being a scientist. Second is Ryuga, I wish he would have stuck with his personality that he had in metal fusion instead of switching up in metal masters then switching back in metal fury, It would have still made since if Ryuga still had the exact same personality even without the dark power in metal masters except just not having a completely evil personality but still rude towards people and still hungry for power. The last Con I have is Fury not having backstories, the reason fury felt rushed was because there wasn’t enough episodes to know about the legendary bladers. They could have made a full episode about each legendary blader with a backstory and fury would have been at almost 50 episodes, even a backstory about rago would have been good. We never even got a backstory on Kenta, Kyoya, or Ryuga and they’ve been around since fusion And that’s my take on Metal Fury, I still love all the legendary bladers except Yuki, Rago could have been a better villian if we got a backstory but he was still good, and the finale in fury was better than fusion and masters imo. But in conclusion the #1 Con that would have made fury so much better is backstories👍🏼

Ryuga didn’t switch up. He definitely grew as a character but he was always a selfish and power driven individual. In Masters he only helped out cause he had to repay Gingka for freeing him from the dark power, as well as him having a vendetta against Hades Inc. In Fury, he was entirely self driven. Most people wonder if Ryuga would’ve cooperated if he understood the gravity of the situation with Nemesis. But I’d argue that he wouldn’t. He was always going to fight Nemesis and prove that he’s the strongest. He saw Nemesis as an easy power grab, and felt no need to cooperate with anyone else because he was that much stronger than the rest of the cast.
@uw3ird0es47
@uw3ird0es47 Ай бұрын
@@Auvisome Ryuga paid his debt when he first battled Gingka in masters and he still had a melo personality after that And if anything he could have went after Faust by himself and defeated tempo but he ended up helping the others instead. But when it came to Nemesis he literally canceled zeus barrier just to steal power, so yeah he definitely switched up. Ever since L Drago had the ability to steal power again he went back into his old ways
@Auvisome
@Auvisome Ай бұрын
@@uw3ird0es47 He doesn’t even know what Zeus' barrier was. He was barely educated on the Nemesis crisis in general. He did not form Zeus' barrier out of his volition. He literally came to Nemesis with the intention of fighting him and absorbing his power. Him attacking nemesis on his own was not an act of defiance but something entirely consistent with his goals from the very start of the season, heck the start of the series even. Again he literally didn’t switch up at all. Meteo Ldrago could steal power as well. The difference is that there was nothing of note in Masters from which he could siphon power from. In Fury, the star fragment provided such a significant power increase that characters like Yuki with no real combat skill, were given buffs to remain somewhat competitive with Ldrago. Ryuga acknowledging that realised that he could steal the power of the star fragment from everyone (especially Nemesis), so that he can elevate himself further. He fought against Hades Inc because he hated them and he wanted revenge. Spiral force was an energy created from both Left and Right rotating beys. He wanted to finish the job by destroying Hades for good, but wasn’t able to cancel out the right rotating component of Spiral Force which is why he had Gingka do it.
@uw3ird0es47
@uw3ird0es47 Ай бұрын
@@Auvisome Even if he didn’t know what Zeus barrier was he clearly saw what was in the stadium and had enough knowledge to not move his bey from his spot lol. And Ryuga should have had even more reason to fight hades inc alone more than nemesis since hades inc is the whole reason why he struggled with the dark power, but instead he helped Now I’m not gonna say Ryuga 100% went back into his dark days because he did help kenta out and he wasn’t just going around stealing everyone’s power, but he definitely switched back a bit when it comes to his personality back in fusion days. We clearly never saw Ryuga in masters just going around causing destruction. But majority of the time we’ve seen him on screen in fury he’s literally just going around harming people and causing destruction
@Auvisome
@Auvisome Ай бұрын
@@uw3ird0es47 Yeah but he’s completely in his right to not pull through with it. Why should he? He was completely confident in his own abilities to defeat Nemesis. Notice how after Diablo nemesis was born, Ryuga still didn’t cooperate with Gingka? Almost like it was never his intention in the first place. You need to separate your own moral compass from fictional characters. Ryuga isn’t you lol. If we judge every character by our own subjective morality, that’d be retarded. Fiction does not need to bend to your will. He fought against Hades Inc because they used him in Fusion. Ziggurat sent him and Doji to Koma Village to retrieve L-Drago, and wanted to use him for Spiral force. Naturally, Ryuga hated that revelation and swore revenge against Hades Inc; he actively had a vendetta. Meanwhile with Nemesis, he pretty much had no idea as to their relation. Once again, you're making these comments in retrospect of having seen the show in full. Ryuga wasn’t present within a lot of scenes in which plot details were explained to Gingka and the others. Ryuga didn’t know about Zeus' barrier and he didn’t know about Nemesis' relationship to the Dark Nebula until after he saw Doji. Which then only motivated him further to take down Nemesis and prove his strength. Uh no he didn’t. There is a very clear difference in personality and charisma between Fusion and Fury Ryuga. Masters and Fury Ryuga are the same person. Just under different circumstances. Fusion Ryuga would’ve literally killed Kenta for fun. Meanwhile Fury Ryuga actually allowed Kenta to train with and accompany him. When Kenta collapsed in the wilderness, Ryuga waited for him. Fusion Ryuga would absolutely not care lol. Masters/Fury Ryuga holds a subtle sense of compassion towards those provide favours for him. He initially helped Gingka in Masters because he wanted to repay a debt. He ultimately let Kenta come along because Ryuga respected his drive, and gave his power to him before dying. Ryuga in Masters was destroying Julian's estate. Sadistically terrorising Sophie and Wales. He destroyed Hades Inc on several occasions. He only destroyed the Tower of Beybel in Fury, purely because they wasted his time by lying about the star fragment. You need to rewatch the show, you’re obviously misremembering things, especially if you think Fusion and Fury Ryuga are the same.
