I think if you try building a 2 stroke again you can make one that works a lot better you should be able to get way higher rpms honestly
@TheAttlier9 сағат бұрын
Hey, try a centrifugal clutch man. It engages at certain rpm, so you man make one or buy one that will make it soo the engine is almost at max before clutch grabs. Then add gearing with the bike shifter.

It’s so weird how yanks pronounce the word solder. It sounds like ‘sauder’ In English we say ‘sold er’ (so with the ‘sold’ syllable before the ‘er’ syllable). I always hate hearing the yank pronunciation!

why not upgrade your cr-10 with sprite direct drive extruder from ender 3 s1 pro? i managed to push mine s1pro to at least half of bambu x1 speeds while maintaining quality
@CamdenBowen19 сағат бұрын
I considered that and some bracing to help with stability, but like 99% of the time I end up just using my neptune 3 since its more convenient. Cr-10 is a beast tho I've hardly done a lick of maintenance to it in the 6 years I've had it and it still works perfectly.

@CamdenBowen well, that's a creality printer. Tho it might look and feel shitty, it's a sturdy workhorse

My experiences with the mini lathe is it becomes the project… A higher initial price point bypasses this and you can just produce things with your tool. The problem is the difference in price point can be insurmountable, also options can take more square feet than available. Welcome to the never ending lathe upgrade club, lol.

Were the cylinders offset from the crank? If they're in line, you lose tons of efficiency.

I think why it was smoking so bad at the start is because you put oil in the crack case which gets sucked up with the air fuel mixture and burns extra oil making thick and white smoke

You'd get a more consistant result if you pull water upwards through a transparent tube. Even without standard units of measurements the water and gravity is the same regardless. For high end fine tuning you need to replace the water between each test because of the gasexchange.

so when an engine goes under load it needs enough power to be able to continue to spin whatever it is spinning EG:tires this small of an engine might have enough power to power an rc car

hi youtube i don't really care for people's engineering creations anymore and you keep showing them to me despite when i click not interested on every video that is like it because they're fairly basic even if they are skilled work and so i would like you to stop recommending them to me thank you *clicks not interested because i've seen my fill of this sort of content*

You have a nice hobby there. But, you need to invest in some small machine tools. It will make your accuracy so much better.
